Quite some years back, when I was just a boy
- around 2009, I'd guess - there was a Journal thread by one ShakesFX called something like "Scalping the pip outta it". Shakes posted his live trades every day all based on fast, indicator-free line charts (M1, basis, I think) with 10 to 15 pip targets. He was posting staggering results with many trades a day & took a lot of time answering questions at the end of his trading session. Then, after many requests, he ran a week (or two) of Live trading sessions and failed miserably trading in front of a crowd of apparently over 100 FF members. Despite his protestations, he was subsequently branded a fraud and disappeared in disgrace.
The point is I never felt Shakes' was a fraud (unlike Jacko, who was and who stole a lot of members money) : I think he just couldn't trade in front of a crowd, but there was great potential in his attitude & method. I sometimes think that if one is really "in the groove", there are many more pips & ticks on the table than we allow ourselves to think. Must be senile dementia setting in ...
