I dunno how far this will rise but this looks good to me.

retrace from the 1.2910 start.
1.2786 38.2%
1.2812 is 50%
1.2835 61.8%
1.2865 76.4%

I am expecting this leg up to be wave C of a wave 2 in a down trend. As long as 1.2910 resistance remains in tact this will remain my view.

price trades 1.2785

after thr euro came alive it dipped to the 4hr 21 ma(1.2770) wich was the 38.2% fibo of the current move up.

The 4 hr ewo is signaling buy and cci is close.

on 1 hr chart ewo and cci is near a sell signal. Judging by the 4 hr charts this 1 hr signal will be a bounce off 0 lines and long signal.

Just awaiting some kind of confirmation.

I tried to go long right befor news. I started trying to place entry 3 min befor news. But platform lag wouldn't allow it. I spent too much time waiting for the click to open the trade window, and waiting for my curser to show up in the s/l box. Finaly when I decided to just goahead and click buy, I couldn't see my curser. It turned 8:30 and the news came in on moble platform. And I wached it take off with out me. I was so mad.


The price reached 76% retrace and found resistance. I entered short at 1.2860.

s/l 1.2875

Target open for now.

There was no trade signal Just knowing there is significant resistance established in this range a fall back would happen. And I am looking at this latest leg up today as near the end of wave c of wave 2 correction to the Larger trend down.

I will sell on rallys near this area. Untill the resistance is broke or the price reaches new lows below 1.2695.

If resistance is broke then this cann't be wave 2 to a down trend but a wave 3 of an up trend. But untill the top is taken out then I am bearish.

I'll use ema's cross to exit any trades

I exited yesterday with a modest 10 pips on the 8 ema cross on hourly.

today same type of trade.

I am short euro 1.2875 s/l 1.2895

current price 1.2860/70

I will exit when Ma signals to.

A good mid term position would be short now and s/l 1.2925 target 1.2550

This current rally looks to be the wave 5 of wave c CORRECTION. So now we should see 5 waves down. If I am wrong about the count we should at least see 3 waves down. so either way the next move should be down.
Keep in mind that this wave 5 could extend to but not past 1.2910 for my bearish out look to remain in tact.

I am close to a signal on ewo,cci. and price is nearing the daily pivot of 1.2825. A move below the pivot will certianly bring ewo,cci into a sell signal.

That would be great as I am in from the very top.

The 2 pm est candle has brought the euro$ into sell signal.

new pivot is 1.2842. My cci signal pulled back just above the 0 line. ewo is in sell signal.

The price could rise to 1.2842 befor falling. The ewo moving back to buy side and cci not crossing under is the exit signal.

Over night we got our rally back to 1.2842/45. now price is back dow to 1.2820/27. CCI crossed 0 line and is at -50. ewo is in sell mode and were below the pivot.

all signals and MA's on 1 hr chart are pointing down. We should see a drop below 1.2800 today. A Break below 1.2820 and then 1.2810 will be confirmation of this expected move. First a small rally back to 1.2830/35.

Price now broke the low around 1.2810/12. CCI is at -70 and ewo is is sell mode looking to form another wave.

A more agressive trade as opposed to the mid term one I posted on the origonal signal would be to short 1.2810/12 and s/l 1.2850

I added position at 1.2820 with s/l 1.2850. But will pull it way befor that if looks to reverse.

Heres chart. On these charts my entry is the green dashed line and s/l is the red dashed line. Now that the charts are clear you can see my actual entry and s/l. For those who might not be sure if I take these trades I post.

just noticed there are green dashed lines on the resistance levels of the pivot indacater. My entry is the one with out the price highlited in green next to it.And has the word sell on the left of it. I will change the resistance lines to another color next time.

I just noticed this. Never really cared about te intrest on roll over but On the modest 10 pip profits posted befor Selling euro and holding through roll over, I got 2.16 pips back basicly covering the spread +.16 of a pip. could be good way to scalp right at the rollover. Mabe if you can get a position 30 sec befor roll over and pull it right after, the price probly won't move in that 45 sec or less. Covering the spread and making it ez to grab a scalp with stacked lots and super tight s/l. But its just one a day kinda for fun.

Price trading at 1.2800 low of 1.2791

I have to keep in ming there is a bullish wave count also. If the price is in a correction to this bull count then it won't break the 1.2695 low. It has reached 50% of the way there.
Thats main reason I don't really target any more. There is always an alternate wave count.

+67 pips from yesterdays short from 1.2875.

+13 pips from todays 1.2820

I felt good about the trade and went to sleep. Price rallied back near s/l and back down to 1.2895 and is looking to rise.

price has had problems maintaining a break below 1.2800. One more reason I don't predetermine a target. As the signals were correct indacating a break below 1.2800 it met with strong support that pushed the price up 50 pips or more. Bears selling on that rally were met with more support at 1.2800.

My bearish view remains in tact. I expect the price to reach 1.2565 range by months end. or beginning of next month.Last month was a doji top and price should pull back to the 8 month ema.
I'll just keep waching signals and selling near 1.2900.

Just to follow up on this post. We got our rise on profit taking, and price is currently 1.2830.

ewo,cci pointing back toward the 0 lines. Ewo has formed 2 humps indacating this down move was probly a correction and not a motive wave or impulse. But the ewo/cci needs to signal up befor I'll agree with that.
The rally back to the pivot this morning looked like it could have been wave 2 of 3 in this last section of the waves down.

Mabe sunday will show us a direction. I wouldn't take a long untill a sustained break above 1.2850 happens to wipe out the possibility of the down move continueing. Unless i get signals. Just not based on support.

about that...
the way that the interest thingie works (or swap as my broker calls it) is that it is actually the swap for 2 days ahead, i.e. tuesday being thursdays and monday being wednesdays and so forth. if u decide to pull that stunt on a wednesday, and you nail it, you get triple the regular swap amount, since wednesday counts for friday, saturday, and sunday.

Hi dave,

I quickly ran through the journal.OMG it is too long.I started from first post when you mentioned of some guy ...dailyfx etc and almost ran through them.
I really regret not to have been reader of you journal previously.Actually your user name contains too much xxx which may be did not appeal me.Lol
I really never read your journal or Albas journal prior to this week.
Now as I have gone through it, I can say that you have been consistant in keeping your journal.Bravo.
Your charts I liked very much bcoz I am very much sensitive to visual knowledge.
