(its never got hot enough for the fan to even go full ). The computer restarted and my original Intel graphics card kicked in (only supports single monitor). I looked on the Nividea driver and it can't find it and I also looked on the control panel/display and it only registers the Intel card. The fan wont shut off. It goes full constantly. I'm working on my laptop right now.

I'm pretty sure I need a new graphics card but does anybody else have any suggestions to try? I'm not a computer engineer so even confirmation would be nice.

I've changed my entry slightly now where I open multiple positions and cover 1 of them at first structure so I have pips in the bag if it takes me out and if your at break even you at least have some pips if that gets taken out. Also your able to catch runners if the bigger tfs kick in which a lot of the time the smaller tf entries are in line with the higher tf context..I'll pm some order flow stuff


I'm no computer expert, I had my computer built for me, but I think a techy would just try the card first anyway , process of eliminaton,sounds like it is your card, get the same card a second hand that works and throw it in,a lot of the computer shops these days have loads of those lying around, to run 3 monitors you need at least a gtx 750 if you decide to upgrade and run 3, hopefully its nor your motherboard

Just found this amazing harmonic in US30, i have no experience trading that high TFs, any tips on how to trade this?

Same as a short tf really, I like to get a bit more confirmation in the price these days to take a trade and see the rejection, I would go down to the 5min tf for a tighter entry though

this is what I'm looking at today. But, I wont be trading myself because I have a few deadlines at work which can't procrastinate. If I have time maybe I'll take a look after the US session closes (and my work is done )

Hi arjan,

Nice straightforward analysis

I've taken a couple of trades on the EU this morning, a counter-trend EU long off 1.1000 which I exited a little early. Currently short EU, which isn't looking too special but I'm at BE so let's see.

Not much opportunity so far today, let's hope the US sessions brings something.

Meh, stopped out at BE.
I wasn't too keen on that short so I'm happier to be out.

hei, that was a beautiful trade. I wasn't near my pc (had to be at a lab all day, I'm a research scientist btw), but I'd have taken that long trade too. there was harmonics there, and confluence, and even a good fib retracement from 61.8 - 78.6%. Just perfect. let's see if price can reach 1.1065-70 and how it will behave at that zone. there is some confluence there. But, right now strength is with the bulls.

Sorry pal, can't help u there. Ask me anything about physics, or chemistry, or materials, I can answer. Unfortunately, I know very little to nothing regarding computers. But I know what kind of elements they use in each computer parts though..., for ex. how much gold, silver, palladium, iron, nickel, tantalum, rare earths, aluminum etc are in HDDs, or motherboards etc etc (if that helps...hehe). Sorry for spamming this thread with unimportant stuff.

Nice area of interest there
Some high impact USD news hitting in 5 mins, so that may set the tone for the rest of the session

oh man...such a pity. if u only knew how often that happens to me. and I still keep telling myself not to move my Stop too soon...and, I never listen.

I might be wrong but, I think that pair still has potential down, wait and see if it breaks that 1.5415-10 zone or smth. 1.5360 could the next stop.

My first trade this week (image below). I'm not sure if I entered at the right time; it might be a bit too early, but i saw some weakness with the bears (look at the slope of the downswing and compare it to the previous one) + market made a NSH (although not a very high one) + structure (not a very strong structure I should say) + 61.8% fib of the major swing. let's see what happens now. I'm still in a DD of 25 pips from previous week (last week had only a BE enough to pay for broker commission + ninjatrader software)

but, this time I wont move my stop like I've done before! let's see what happens and if situations goes to hell then I'll kill my own baby by myself (wont let the market take it's life). Let's pray that my baby lives and grows into a profitable TP.

ahhh, i'm a bit skeptical about this trade. I should see price break that 1.1030 zone to be safe, otherwise, things are not looking good. I saw some momentum increase with the bulls but that move was rejected pretty fast in that zone. I guess some supply was lying in there...hm.
let's wait a couple more bars before we do smth stupid (as usual).

guys, let me know if i'm spamming this thread with too much images, talk...nonsense words.... I simply think that we all could learn a bit from these real open trades. And especially the psychology part after the trade is opened is important for me (and an issue for me at least). so, please tell me, if i should continue this way or not. I can of course try to keep it shorter and sweeter.

this trade is being a pain in the @ss. Mr.PiP's rules state: "When one enters in aggressive C trade, Stop should be placed a couple of pips below point A" - which in this case is the swing low at 1.1000 level. And that's what I'm doing now. But I don't like this damn trade, mainly because momentum increased on the down side (take a look at the slope of the blue arrows in the image below). Although, the fact that the market had a new swing high it's important and I think that market should at least try to test that region again.
