Hi Sub,
By the look at MACD or RSI or Stoc you had on that chart without looking at TDI (which would be much easier to tell), GU were too bullish to consider any short sell, hence it was too risky and impossible to think of having a tight SL.

I had done counter trend trades with divergence while it was still at overbought/oversold area and failed too many times. As an TA trader, I could go on and on telling stories about those indies and pivots when they work and when they don't, still prefer TDI with PA .

Whether you are day trader like me or position trader like Davit, we must be clear and keep that in mind before entering a trade to avoid sitting with large DD. It's not only about picking good entries but managing them well is the key and I admired how Davit handled his trades, I could not do that. So each of us need to design our own system that fits our lifestyle, personality, capability and mentality.

There are so many hints to learn from Davit's charts which we could do other wise by being more patient to wait for m30 confirmation and TDI moved away from 68/32 levels.
Here is an example of my EN trade I took on 28th Oct where price formed divergence with 2 pin bars but TDI was still above 68, it moved against my trade more than 100pips before it actually turned toward my original PT, I could not bear such DD and got out for a loss. Well, I broke my rules here and there sometimes . So my system is good, only me that not disciplined. I m repeatedly warning you guys to avoid that habit if you want to improve your results.

I don't have any update indies, all can be found in paper clip which is located on the top right hand corner of the thread.

Here is the list that on my chart EN chart (if you like the layout of the chart I posted recently):

Stochastic and Awesome are optional and for some traders they only need TDI and look at price actions. I have them on since I started trading long time ago and felt missing one more confirmation if I did not check them before entering a trade, even though they are not vital to my decisions now a day, also I really don't want to discuss about them here.

Those indies I highlighted in bold writing are important.

Notice how price hit pivot and repeatedly became strong support.Fundamentally I prefer shorting GC then buying and will wait for price to reach R38

With Feds threat of raising IR in Dec please be mindful of selling USD specially after any employment data from now until Dec.
I do anticipate UJ above 22 possible testing 122.86 100R pivot and UC 133.80
Much remains how MM will push USD.I think Nov will be market makers USD bull drive month unless some severe red employment data derails this I anticipate strong USD.
My focus will be shifting on none USD pairs like EG AC GC AN

Thanks LK. It's a mixer of FA [ Though i don't understand what FA is saying except the last part Bulls or Bear ]+TA. Yes started on H4. Idea was to add as long as it stays above 184.00 area. Later the entry candle become a bar pattern OB and i added every time it pulled back.

How do you check the fundamental data? Is there any good website so that we can check the latest fundamental information.

EG not yet touched S61. What makes you to be so bullush?
What about USDCHF ? It reached R61. What about GA? It reached R100. It will be a good idea to shot these two?

I use bloomberg, http://www.fxstreet.com/news/ http://uk.reuters.com/ forex factory news mostly
Watch PA you'll know the answers of your questions.Market dictates action or none action.
USD/CHF is same as EU so not trading it.I don't trade G crosses except GC
I basically trade 8 pairs and don't even look at others.Keeps me focused.
UC AC GC EG GU EU AU UJ

Lots of experienced traders LK GS OM etc trade Crosses and do well.My style of trading does not suit fast ADR pairs.I prefer slower moving pairs.
When you see a pair reaching 61 100 levels put them on RED ready to press button mode and watch behavior.Any weakness just take the trade.You are not going to win all but good % you will.
