Hi all

I've just taken a short position on NCHF , an unusual pair granted. It's a 1:1 trade at present, looking for 100 pips or so (depends on pa of course).

I've timed entry from the h1 chart.....my reasons for entry were present to take the trade on....all contained in Kobols thread....I wonder whether anyone can see why I entered this trade in this case when I did? ......answers on a postcard lol

Here was a pretty nice set up on CHF/JPY off the h1 chart

Everything happened quickly, plus I got in the trade a little later than ideal, but have taken profit from 2 positions now (net 50 pips). Last position is now adjusted to be -8, so it's a freebie effectively. I will let this run or get stopped, it's no problem now, and move on.

And continuation medium F1 lines ?

i dont know if you ask for black zones , in my brain black zone is when H1 H4 D1 are in harmonic ,and start " all together (or almost) " in black zones.

Yeah you got it (as I expected you of all people would do)

It was actually a golden cross to be exact, and with good zone and pa....for me a no brainer trade.

Maybe your dark spaces theory works too....if it does mate go with it.

At least you've proved someone reads and takes notice in your own thread tho....hahaha

It is definitely on my radar too.....I anticipate taking shorts on soon enough when I get the signal to fire

I think your entry now is ok....it will still work, but if you look at h1, you can see that high and low PLs is not the pattern shape that I prefer to see when I take an entry. But precision entry is arbitrary for any of us, the important thing, no matter when you have entered, is to manage it. Sometimes we have to sit and wait out some dd before direction is established....that's the way it goes. But so long as our analysis is consistent then we will get more success than failure....that's how I approach trading anyway.

Yeah it's a fair entry imo good luck....personally I have opted for a pending short order set, which I'd like to trigger at 0.99400. It may not trigger at the price I want, in which case I miss the bus...there's always another bus to catch though somewhere at a price that suits me.

I already realized , you catch in a start start trend. i think this is more advanced .

In my brain put a pending order like 0,98900 ,when the all confirmation are in .is the better safe mod.

simple way entry early and let it roll.

still makes a bit confusion think like that but maybe one day

Your entry is fine....probably perfect in fact. But all I'm saying is that price action looks a bit jittery to me, and we could see a retracement, maybe not, in any case, I've placed my POs at a point that offers me a good price. Looking at price as it stands at this moment though...your decision to enter at market price was correct...so well done mate.

Yes....but that is precisely the reason we have two lines, not one!....high and low lines tells us everything we need to know, and we get a superior "price action" pattern in the process....but that is my opinion that's all.
