Dont take it personally....your scalping (charts) just arnt good enough (yet)....i just wanted to make sure, not only you are aware of this, but others as well....thats it...keep on practicing, you will get there!

Hey there.. curious to know if you tried this chart type on the DAX / GER30 - the daily range is excellent.

Hi, yes of course. DAX is a really good target, gives fine movings. Nowadays I focused on EURUSD mainly, but plan trading on DAX again.

For scalping/short term trades i prefer EUR/USD (the choppiness/moves between imbalanced areas) and SPY (mostly the US open volatility).

DAX again. Unfortunately, I wasn't in front of my computer, so it was a preset TP. Entry was perfect.

looks much better today...i do notice you are exiting on the H or L where you draw the line. But why exit if its breaking out? Obv you want to keep the profits, so why not try tp 1/2 or 3/4 of your position and ride the wave with the other half (in a breakout situation). If you are riding the wave with pips in your pocket already, then yes - its safe to "add" / take another scalping position while another position is floating. This way you are building positions, without any big risks, but still making money.

As you said: "keep the profit". I just go for "sure pips". For the time being it is enough for me. Partial close is not my favourite. But, maybe later ..
Update: in my experience the breakouts are rarer than rebounds.

2 trading days on per-second charts
92 trades
Profit 34%
DD 0.6%

Not so bad, right?

This is my sorrow, that this topic looks like a personal trading journal. My original intent was a scalper-jamboree.
