D/T to be honest you have done a great job, but if I were you I would just let the guys download the indicator then let them find there own setting that they are happy with, perhaps it would help to make a table of some sort as guide to particular setting but I am no guru the setting I have mention are what I use and seem full of logic (to me anyway) but other guys might disagree, hence we can have a nice informative debate as to the pros and cons of certain setting and levels

Yes the mini levels are very important but I will go into them later with you (not so much the 50% level)

ive updated the template a couple posts back

as seen in the picture,,,can make for a nice system on its own,,,,,,prive oversold on rsi and on a murray level...if price goes over a levelplace a pending order so triggered on way back over,,,,if price goes to next murray levelthen move pending order like you would a trailing stop.

when in a trade trail your stops,,,,look for targets like another murray level.

anyway back to clives method lol

where do you see eurusd going? 1.11?

Yes i understand trend is down....unless prior lower low is broken..eg my chart 1.1100 level area.Counter trend giving you good pipz or wait fod entry on trend confinuation

D/T its getting late and my wife as call me to bed for sex, ops when I got there she said do not forget you have to be up for six, f/me the batteries have gone in my hearing aid, now you are up and running and as you watch your charts all will start to become a little clearer around the levels, lets just watch and think money management risk /reward what style of trade do you want to do trend/counter trend etc but above all lets just stop and think a little, this is Clives Thread and its 1 min so for the time being lets just stick to the idea of a 1 min chart set to Murrey and overlay with Clives method, the bigger moves can come later.

here's a couple simple 5pip trades where: 1) 60min TF RSI 2 is over 70 (seen in aqua color) 2) CCI 4 on the 5min TF is coming back up from -100 over sold. (magenta for 60min TF RSI 2 under 30, and catch candles coming back from CCI 4 over bought). Thought I'd toss up a chart since its CCI based. Hope things are going well Clive.

D/T see post 8709 page 436 that's the Murrey Indicator I use for MT4 the Timeframe one by Xard 777 it draws the sub levels, just be careful the smaller the timeframe just make sure you refresh every now and then, I draw the Blue boxes by hand, must say you seem to be picking Murrey up like a duck to water well done

thanks for this useful thread. I`m experimenting with your simple but logical method.
Have studied your chart. Please have a look again at it. There was another place where entry conditions were met but you didn`t mark it with yellow arrow.
Why?
You just missed it or are there signs and hints in PA or indi showing that strong momentum will exhaust for a while?
Or is it just your rule to only take the first two entries after ema has changed its colour?

Hi doerpn!

I think thats because he takes only two trades per 35 MA color change.

I have been watching the system today all day long and I can say I was happy that I was trading it on a demo account. I usually don't
trade mondays thats why it was pure luck. I got really creamed. Very often the -10 pip stop was way too tight, the 35 MA changed rather
often the color and kicked me out of the trade due to color change trade close.
Especially on GBPAUD was today a ranging market. Clive last time mentioned that at 70% of the time the markets go sideways. So if thats
the case then 70% of the time this system will fail or have a hardcore time. I just cannot believe that this works in a ranging market. Ok,
looks super in a trending market but when we have that? I actually never in 15 years trading Forex had so many losses only in London and US
session. I was taking the trades 1/1 with all the rules. Also, if you only go for 20 pips per day, if it creams you on the first trades you end up trading all
day and maybe even lose more. Then you sit on a -100 pips for one day and need a whole week to cover that.

Does anyone have another experience? This is just my opinion after trading this system today on a lets say average day, but that you dont know in advance.

And the super trender indicator indeed shows you the most trending pairs but most of the time their move is over and you jump in when it starts to chop around.

I would be glad if someone could come up with a longer experience or testing and some results. But real trading with trades you really took, on demo or real,
i dont care. But please not some charts with self placed arrows and " I would have short here and bought there". Thx!

Hi Mark

I'm new to this system too but will give it a shot. I can point out the obvious.
Add the 175 lwma and only take trades in its direction when the color of the 35 matches. Look for strong trends (ie when the 175 has a good slope).
One thing I notice is that you seemed to take trades when the cci didn't cross 100/-100 or is that my poor eyesight.
The market you chose looks very rangy. Look for strong trending markets.
Of course, everything I said is easier said than done.....I know.
Hopefully Clive can shed some light
