{quote} Hi Davit, I have a question and realize its a rookie one. If I was to short here, I would just have 1 or 2 positions. I know you like to build multiple positions with your style of trading. LK has a rule not to short when TDI is above 68 and right now it is clearly below 68. ( I am not at home so I cant tell where TDI is on the daily chart). Would you kindly talk about your thinking? Is there a Harmonic pattern forming here? If I was to short multiple positions here, I am sure to get hurt (my luck). Thx.

Just popping my head in here and happened to read a rookie one. Don't wait for Davit and don't let him feel he is responsible for your actions. If you realize 99% for sure you will get hurt, why do it? Look at all Davit's charts with his trades and ask yourself this question: would I be able to bear with such DD? if yes, go with it, don't put one foot in the water while let other one hanging out there...trading is not that hard to deal, dealing with yourself is the hardest part. G'day & G'9.

{quote} no one or no set up can be 100%, just for the sake of my TA, plz look at your chart where I marked with squares and you have a clear pic ( there where your entry price did make higher lows but not enough to go in except if there were a bullish divergence), so for me no show for buy yet...just as no set up buy for me yet. {image}

{quote} Why must you trade it then?I don'tYou don't need to trade 20pairs to make money.I basically trade 4-5pairs and make my monthly goal+more. None of my pairs are hyper G pairs. Problem in forums like this is people forget that everyone is on different experience plane and have different tolerance to stress and patience. Some like to emulate LK and forget that she has good experience and skill.Perhaps you are not ready to trade G crosses. Its really baffling to me how trading GU with 2pip spread is being ignored but some with little experience...

Hehe no worries Davit I know what I'm doing, just posting this loss for the benefit of me and other noobs to learn..still green today
I use some Aussie brokers like ICM, Pepperstone etc. They offer nice spreads for trading crosses (1-2 pips usually, 3-4 sometimes). I wouldn't trade by paying a 7-8 spread either it is very costly in the long run as you said!

Would anybody go short on U/J? seems it touched a pivot and shaping pins. TDI about to cross and angle tries to widen. How about E/U?

Best to stick with TMS30 rules.I often break it because I have other confluences that are outside this system.
Please read my signature...its a system by itself.If you feel uncomfortable then don't short.Simple as that and wait for proper signal.
When I take a trade I have bigger TF in mind.I could hold it a week even so immediate DD does not bother me.
Best regards

Dear Davit,
reading your posts and viewing your results, I realize that trading taking into account the fundamentals but entering by technical analysis gives the best results.
So I follow your view and shorted this morning only one E cross not to risk too much. Result: greenies!
Do not hesitate to share your view on fundamentals by time to time!
Thank you so much!
Cheers!

On UJ
Since mid August UJ has been ranging and I already mentioned I love ranging pairs.
I like building positions on rangy pairs.If I am wrong then I take my losses.Part of doing business.Should you duplicate this?I would say no.Wait for TDI+PA confirmation.

Thanks GS In recent weeks, I've spent a fair amount of time developing my plan, with a real focus on being more selective with my entries. As you know already, its a mental challenge more than anything else... I'll have to assess over the next few weeks whether or not its working but I've had a good first week back
Focus on the process and the profits will follow

You guys probably know that I love slow range pairs like EG AC.AC in particular because of being commodity currencies tend to range a lot. This means one can build positions maximizing profits Notice that AC is between R38 and S38 Nice tight range.What you do is up to you but make sure TDI PA confirms it. {image}

what is your take on USD/JPY. I think its about to move down, at least 30 TF is saying that. Its about to reach a heavy R and has already made two pins, Divergence was observed. Would like to see your comments.

In addition, as high ADR cross pairs generally have lower pip value compared to majors, it offsets some impact of higher spread.

Just a really random question, how long do you guys take to be recover your losses and on a profitable track?

I am on the 3rd year but still not much improvement. I feel demoralized.
