as for tablets dave im very fit and healthy and have not seen any doc for at least 20yrs hence,,,,no tablets for me

I found this thread today. Is there any post which explains this trading strategy in detail, e.g. with clear entry AND exit rules, size of stop loss and so on???

I appreciate all the efford of all guys who help others here but one good post with ALL rules, ALL indicators and ALL templates would make it much easier.
Also if this thread grows to 5000 pages you could always send the new guys to lets say page number 123. But right now, I just saw some post from the
thread owner which point to page 4XX and say there everyone can find the system with the rules that apply at the moment. I went there but see a few
screenshots. Yes, there are examples on this screenshots but what about more detailed rules:

1.) Are the entries after candle close or also on a open candle?

2.) what stop loss are you using? Do you exit manual or you let it hit sl?

3.) When do you trade this? London open? US open?

4.) Do you enter if a candle does close just on the MA or you wait for another candle to go into the trade direction????

5.) Do you use two MA's or only one??? I saw that in the beg it was only one but then it were two and now seems to be only one again.

I think just a screenshot with "thats what a perfect trade looks like" is not enough. The trading day is FULL of tricky trades, to handle them there
need to be rules. Every clown can trade when a market trends 200 pips in one direction. But if you have a 10 pip stop loss it is a matter of timing.

Again, I am happy for everyone who makes 20% per hour with this and success to all of you. This is no critic at all, I think it is a very interesting system,
I also love to keep things simple. But right now this got confusing. I mean instead of 20 posts with screenshots and "after the fact" trades one post with
all detailed trading rules and examples would do it.

Maybe such a post exists already but please don't ask everyone to read 452 pages to find that.

Yes 452 pages is a lot of reading but you may find some nuggets in there. FWIW I've just finished reading a 776 page thread.

it is not that I don't like to read, but right now 9'025 posts and not a single one which doesn't explain it in detail?

I read a lot today and also took a few trades but I have NO IDEA if they were ok because I could not find any specific rules here. Yes, I know,
the slow MA is the 5 min trend, the fast MA kind of used for the entries on pullbacks. The pullbacks you check with the CCI. But does the candle
need to stay above the fast MA for a buy trade? What if it goes through it and then turns again to the upside? Is that still valid or is not anymore?
Is there a fixed 10 pip sl?

I think here are a lot of smart people around, shouldnt be a problem to answer that. Not a critic but a screenshot with "quick 20 pips done for the day"
doesn't help traders who are new to the thread. I don't say that every post has to contain the rules but at least one post after "9'025" which explains this
in detail so all traders here can trade according to the same rules. Not one guy enters on that CCI, the other one has no clue, the third one trades the crossover,
the fourth is scratching his nose and so on...

You guys are making me sick!!!! I know why clive isn't much active anymore just because some guys are too lazy (or too stupid?) to read the last 46 pages?? It's even mentoided in the first fuc*ing post. But for the slow people among us... READ FROM PAGE 416! There you will find everything you need and hundrets of trade examples, templates and indys. And guess what if you want some more informations go and search through clives posts and there you will find everything explained at least 6 times just because other lazy guys came here and asked dumbe questions. And if you search for indys, templates or other files use the paperclip.
You will find here everything so search before ask so basic questions! If you are struggeling while you are trading or a trade went wrong I will help but for questions that are already answered I will ignore them

Sorry for the late reply D/t but been out, glad you doing it, and trading longer than a minute, must admit the 1 minute is a little more demanding and it does sort the men from the boys but by gosh its good when you get it right, glad you are in good health, I was full of stress when I first started trading, learnt how to handle it now, glad you read my posts do not think many other guys do, must admit its good to see other guys screenshots of winning trades it just seems to give you more confidence to keep at it

i remember when you couldnt post any screenshots...glad you can now.Every time frame is multiples of 1min.... if you trade higher timeframes you just got to make sure the lower ones are in sync in same direction....meaning then you make more pips

Yes I remember them days, did not post because never used any indicators so I thought they would look silly to all the tech guys on here, just play about with the 1 min to keep my hand in and get a bit of pocket money, must admit they are growing on me, like you my proper trading is done on much bigger timeframes do you see the move coming on the Gbp/Usd got my money ready for this little beauty

Hi Mark, in my experience Clive's thread is one of the more comprehensively explained, regarding definitions of rules, philosophy, timing etc and as Clive has often re-iterated key points in his posts I would think you could get a pretty good understanding of things by reading from around page 400 onwards. What you have likely seen so far have been summarized re-iteration points/posts by Clive, that are based or build on previous longer and more comprehensive posts he has made, so its worth taking a look back I reckon. Other more experienced folks here may be able to point to a specific page/entry or 2 if needed but if you are scrolling and only picking out Clive's entries - shouldn't take too long to cover 52 pages or so - good reading :-).

Hey Kwin - you are not alone mate in your trading story and I know how hungry you must be feeling to get more info. Just my personal opinion and based on my experience thus far, but as has been said, we already have all the tools and information about Clive's method to take it to market and make it work. That comment Clive made about the Turtles experiment and how some folks mistakenly thought (based on their own poor performance) that others had been given better/extra instruction than them, is very relevant. If/when Clive gets a chance to provide any more insights to the execution of trading this approach, it remains to be seen whether we will all be able to take steps closer to consistent profitability as a result. I suspect (just like the turtles) that will depend more upon our personal ability to handle the psychology of executing as directed, than it will comprehending the instruction given.

Just touching on the recent debates about methods and timeframes, imho in this business there isn't a right and wrong way to trade and people can bash themselves senseless trying to argue their corner. However there is a right and wrong personal choice to make in selecting a trading edge (read method) that suits your own psyche. This argument manifests itself in the time-frames debate quite frequently (the low t/f traders versus the long/higher t/f traders), I've seen in many threads, stronger arguments for and against than experienced in religious debates lol, but who can argue if both are trading consistently profitably? I couldn't give a toss if someone trades 60 min, 4 hr, daily or tick charts - my interest lies in proving to myself the system has profitable consistency over a statistically viable data period. The next question I ask myself is whether I am be able to handle (and afford) trading/executing this method in the way it needs to be executed (as done by the author/expert and in line with its outcome goal) based upon my psyche. When I say psyche I generally mean - my ability to overcome fear and greed and my ability to handle the amount of risk the system will expose me to over the maximum expected number of concurrent losing trades and required stop levels recommended. If I cant handle that or am unable to execute without fear, then I am overextending myself and putting success at risk by attempting to trade with the system.


At this point I am drawn to lower timeframe methods, I have tried to understand why, I spent 4 years trading the Aussie SPI futures contracts and the DAX and dabbled in Forex all at 1 min or lower charts, so maybe my choice is no more intellectually driven than familiarity lol. However, my trading account is small and I see a direct relationship between size of account capital / timeframe traded / required exposure or risk per trade. Clive's system is able to be traded according to the rules in line with my psyche and risk profile so at this point that all feels right to me. I could trade a higher tf system and use a micro account but I think motivation might be a problem for me with such small return and I like the idea of faster feedback on my progress (or otherwise) which a lower tf system brings with trade volumes and frequency. That could all change of course if I prove to be rubbish at succeeding with Clives system lol.

Anyways apologies for yet another long post - I promise to try and make any future ones more succinct - cheers..Paul. :-)

That´s naive. So, how you know if you were not checked the last 20yrs + Just because you don´t feel sick or have any pain does not mean you´re healthy.

My sister last visited a doctor when she was about 12 (vaccination). She was never sick but suddenly died when she was 25. You don´t know if you´re healthy or sick until you visited a doctor.

GBPNZD top of TT. Trade above 2.2850 perfect per system but with GBPAUD stalled and EURNZD headed dramatically down an easy decision for me to give a mess oops miss. No agreement across pairs.

See this one too but I don't like the price action and the steepness of the lwma 35 so I passed it....

--> still have to work on my discipline and focus, but the whole morning there wasn't a good entery so patience ended here

at least now I am in green area, and with important news in 15 min I call it a day in the trading world
