Say trend was up I would take 2b signal if it lost i would take next one

thanks Harold .. yes trend was up and that's how i recorded it: first 2b was a loss and the next was a win - another example of reliability of follow-up signal after loss

Let's suppose for a moment that today was NOT inventory day and that you were trading. Is it a mistake to say that thus far there has not been a clear set up, either a 123 or a 2B as you define them?

DD based on today's chart trend is down at about 830 there was a 2b to get back into the trend that looks like it won
