I shorted this earlier using the H1 chart here for my first every trade using the system

I was probably a bit premature though glad to see my thinking and analysis wasn't too far out.

Welcome to M30 Freefox. It s good to see traders from the original TMS thread here. Yeah, you entered at the time where TDI was still around overbought area (TDI>68 if you used TDI pro version), and that where lots of traders got wiped out if their SL just a few pips above last swing high. It was a nice spot to short after price was rejected off 200MA H1 and that was the reason I added more positions.

Hello hello again,

I was in the "same" trade with uCad (screenshot attached). But after the big bull pinbar I chickened out and was feeling fine with taking a small loss of 11 pips on this one. If I was still in the trade, I was out FOR SURE after the big and strong looking green bar, which was a drawdown of 30+ pips (and loss). I must admit I wasn't paying enough attention to re-enter on the bounce trade because I was reading an e-book (shame on me...).

Was I so wrong for leaving with a loss, likica? :/ After seeing your chart and trades with adding positions at the top off that bullish bar I'm left with the question what convinced you to stay in the trade and even adding during the drawdown? I noticed the rejection of H1 200EMA + S/R, but that became clear after the bar close and your added positions where placed during the bar open.

I did not post for a long time, but I am reading and learning every day on this thread! Again, many thanks for all the contributors and wonderfull traders!
Hope to see a clear answer so that I can learn and adapt from there. Thanks in advance.

got few good ones holding for lower AC from 9550-9570 (currently over +200pips)
lots of data on Aussie and China this week and I am anticipating to be negative

Hi M
If I am not mistaken he was building long positions not shorts.Lines on the charts are longs.
He mentioned his SL to be roughly 50pips but that's for emergency.Often including me close trades before hitting SL

Welcome back Wes. It was 1st touch on 200MA H1 that kept me staying in and added more, of course price could go thru and further up but if there were news or some other unexpected schedules... on M30 if you noticed, price kept making higher high where TDI made lower high, indicating weakness from bulls, you don't need to wait for candle to close to observe that.

@balli...why 10 ema is king ..learn from love1 aka Arjun (i miss him lot)i took all u cad trade according to 10 day ema what i check last night ..i always check position of of 10 ema and tdi position ..is act as support or res or away from 200 ema ..is bouncing..rejecting etc ..then you will not afraid of sudden spike ..IMHO

Thanks for the explanation, you pointed out the things I need to look out for when my trade is running. Need more detailed analysis from my point of view.

Here is another loss trade I made today. I was also distracted by the time I could re-enter when the nice divergence formed.

Aussie is declining however I believe she will weaken lot more this week.Sweet spot is colored
Fibs provide landscape area where you may exit or wait for reaction most immediate is 23 27 however I often don't take those as strong fibs
1st R/S fib 38 then moving to 50 then 61.8 being most important influential.
Now overlapping on this system it may give outline where you may exit or enter.Fibs are collective behavior of all participants and part of Elliot Wave
Every trader should study minimum price movement patterns.I think Classy posted some of those on his thread

Its fine learn from it and move on.Don't beat yourself its part of trading.Number rule I have is to forgive myself.That opens up opertunity to build on the experience.
Worse thing you can do next time staying over 200pips in losing position because your last loss came back...hence hard-wiring bad habits in your brain.

In my view best way to measure fibs is H4 D swing.Anything less is missing the big picture.
Your fib is from minor swing.I like using zigzag indicator for this.Nice clear lines.Fundamentally if China data comes out negative it will crash Aussie wings.Most analysts predict to be negative.
