That is a $USD40.56 which is about $AUD55.55. When AU was riding high, the AUDUSD was about 1.00, so the fall is not as dramatic as it seems if you remember to always use the AUD in you calculations. Same with gold. It was about $AUD1600 and $USD1600 and now it is $AUD1585 and $USD1158.

hmmm.....tricky now. long or short? sidelined.

china trade data was supposed to be released at 0200GMT no? the figures appear to have been released on schedule..aside from the important trade balance.

trade data isn't as bad as expected (exports) .. so bullish for aud? I dunno, its anyones guess

I don't see the market reaction with this news... does it mean there is no impact!!
well, after this long trip to uptrend, I guess it is time to have some correction, otherwise, bad things are on the way...

TBH, i have no idea where it will head from here. I exited and TP-ed at .7300 just now. Time to cash out on my profits. All i foresee is consolidation currently. Why not take a break from the markets and wait for the chart to tell you something then?

Alot of speculators in this forum for sure. Just be on the right side of the speculation

I'm going in long @ 7305.
Good case for the uptrend to remain intact. If there's further downside, will be adding more longs.

If long, maybe a good idea with managed risk.
I'm waiting for potential to short. I think we have potential for 7830 area before bears start to get serious

took profits at 0.730, with any long move i will keep shorting AUD, still need it to reach 0.723
