You could try setting ClearancePips to 10. I am sorry, but the indicator is not able to generate alerts, and I'm no longer doing MT4 coding. Your best bet might be to have somebody write a new indicator. Try posting in one of the 'I code your indicators for free' threads, or if you're willing to pay, try mql or elance.

How should we know? It's your chart; what is the name of the indicator on there, or did you draw those pretty color lines with arrow plus the boxes with some other program, because no real sure exactly what you are asking about...... in other words, please supply more relevant information pertinent to the question.

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

This is not my chart,I saw it from QQ(like what'sapp),said he do the trade according to those two lines and the box in the corner,I just queries and want to learn more,if I had more detail, will send up again, thankyou.

Green dotted line is the line day begins
I have pictured these blue lines and a box by means of using 2 daily lineboxes indicators (template attached as a example).
However I have not had what I wanted.
I would like to get such a channel that begins from some hours before the current day begins - the upper red line should point at the upper edge of the channel.

Is it possible to plot such a channel, using the indicator?

Is it possible to plot a median between adges of the channel?

There seem to be many versions of this indicator floating around. I have attached the version that I use, and that generated the attached screenshot. Numbered points refer to the numbers in the screenshot.

The white separators represent midnight 00:00 MT4 time. You can set any of StartHours, EndHours or ExtendHours to a negative value, to set them earlier than midnight of the current day (whose value is 0 -- all values are in hours, and are relative to midnight on the current day). Setting StartHours to -5 (see point 3) and EndHours to 0 generates the pattern (1) shown in the screenshot. Including ZZ in Properties (4) extends two horiz lines from the StartHours thru to ExtendHours, while the T truncates the colored box at EndHours. F means a filled box, and 2 sets the width of the lines. All of this is explained in more detail in post #1. Note that you should leave both TextProperties and SymbolProperties blank (5), to avoid text or symbols being plotted. Note that using negative values for StartHours doesn't work perfectly for Monday, since candles are missing over the weekend (2). Please read post #1 and feel welcome to experiment.

It's not possible to plot a median line. Including A in Properties plots a median between the High/Low of the Start Candle only. The indicator is already complex and I don't wish to make it more so.

Sorry, but I am no longer coding or troubleshooting indicators, unless it's a really quick job, or the indicator or EA is useful to me personally. You could try posting in one of the "I code your indicators for free" threads, and perhaps somebody else can help you. Or if you're willing to pay for the work, you could try MQL or elance.

I recommend installing the .ex4 file only (see previous post). If you attempt to compile the .mq4 on build 600 or later, you'll likely get errors (more info in this thread). However, I've attached the .mq4 source file in case another programmer wants to update it, and then make your requested enhancements, in which case the code libraries that the indicator uses can be found in this thread (many thanks to pips4life for upgrading them).

Alternatively, the programmer could compile the indicator 'as is' using the build 509 compiler, and the code libraries here.

Of course I know how to use your indicator as I am using it for a long time.

However what you are suggesting is not exactly what I mean. Let me show a today's picture taken in the morning.
Red lines show the channel we should see, green ones are the lines of your indicator's.

If Properties = Z then horizontal lines are plotted at the highest and lowest prices between StartHours and EndHours (and then the lines are extended to ExtendHours). Therefore:

 The green lines in your screenshot are plotted if Start/End/Extend Hours are set to the time values (hours relative to MT4 midnight) shown in green.

 The red lines will be plotted if Start/End/Extend Hours are set to the time values (hours relative to MT4 midnight) shown in red. (if you don't want the lines extended, simply make ExtendHours the same value as EndHours).

If you don't want the green box to show, set Properties to Z2 instead of FTZ2

That is as much as the indicator is capable of doing. (Also, it can not plot a median line between the red lines). If you want more, you will need to have a programmer do some work for you.

I am simply repeating what is already written in post #1. So perhaps I don't understand the question that you're asking?

No, Hanover, you understand me well enough. So do I.

The matter is that your indicator does not make what I want.
The only thing I can make with your indicator is to plot channel without the TRUNCATED green box included (see the pictures below).

The conficuration of the first picture is FZ2;
The conficuration of the second picture is Z2;
Both of the variants are acceptable.

This is not currently possible. Sorry, but I have no plans to upgrade the indicator (it is arguably too complex already, let alone without adding even more options), but if another programmer wishes to undertake the work, the source code and relevant info is attached to post #229.
