Wouldn't say 'nothing'. Sure on hold was predicted, but there was talk of RBA dropping rates, now with Fed less likely to raise next month, then the AUD has become a little attractive in the short term to for investors to grab some interest. This may just be sentiment rather than being actual outcome, but a 30 pip upswing/spike based on sentiment is nothing unusual (I've seen bigger for less).

I'd expect a similar climb to what we have had the last 1.5 weeks until FOMC.

0.72 wouldn't be a impossible target with a stall at each resistance.

waiting for .7150 to short, might try one at .7125 for a quick scalp
edit: decided to cancel .7125 trade

Did a small short at .7120. Will add more shorts if it climbs further, vice versa when it goes lower. See how this play out.

Going to short scalp the retracement soon. Take profit will be 0.71158.

While sleeping... these orders didn't trigger.. Incredible. Spreads must have widened to 5 pips...

At least I was already long but this really could have been a home run.

On its way to .7180+.. probably some pullback along the way.

Wanted to add more longs prior to the RBA but was waiting for a longer spike down...
Anyways, added an extra 2lots right after news broke @ .7087, and just closed those 2lots @ .7129

I was going for .7190 but the tl on my chart was too convincing.. it moved too fast with no waver...
Might still push up, but just watch the pa bc ~ .7120 is good stall point...

Anywhere near this BBand (34 with 3 standard deviation) on 1 hour has been a great place to enter short.

I got out of long .7126, waiting for re entry point.

I think its going .7150 before any deep correction though.

Yeah definitely going to stall at 0.7120 from the looks of things.
Took profit and fucked it off.
