EA (mine 1.3.2 and Vlad's 1.6.1) are working fine for most people. Obviously there is a problem with your local setup. If you can't post any errors from the Journal or Experts tab there is no way to help you, sorry

I got this error message.
What does it mean?
Lots of time it has that "Off Quotes" behind it.

It means that your broker is requoting the order price the ea sent to it. Try setting slippage to 30 or more

I am getting 133 error of trade is disabled. However it is happening only on one pair where other pairs running the same EA on the same parameters are absolutely fine. Thats Vlad's EA 1.6.1. Any idea?

Hi ShaolinQuant,

I think I found the problem but I'm not sure whether it is the cause,
Maybe it has something to do with the "time area" located in the top left area.
I give you a scenario, EA current time(top left area)=15:00, broker current time is 18:00(3 hours ahead), my real own time=23:00(always 5 hours ahead of broker time).
In short, broker time is 3 hours ahead of EA time, my own time is 5 hours ahead of broker time/8 hours ahead of EA time.

This time thing is so frustrating, if you don't mind, can I request a little modification to the EA just for me?
I would like the EA to not have any time setting (start end time), I want the EA work like ON and OFF.
Which means that, when I press AutoTrading, it will start working from that time until 1 cycle is completed.
I will need to off the Autotrading then ON back the autotrading to let it run again for 1 cycle. It will be less troublesome this way for my type.

EURGBP :

1minute chart.

This week results :

24x5 trading.

At times close profits manually.

Trade open only by EA 1.6.1.

Capital 10k

Q setting 325. :

Floating maximum at any time this week : 5 %.

Returns this week : 6.2 %

Q setting 725.

Floating maximum at any time this week : 2.5 %

Returns this week : 6.6 %.

Testing will continue.
Intraday only.

Hi all

Here is the simple version from original 1.6.1
Changes
1. I make it for me east to read but putting all iteration nicely
- so that later I will try to change the Daily EMA filter period to another indicator
2. Remove grid
3. Remove time slot2 and time slot3 : only have one window time only and has option turn off EA at any day from mon to fri
4. Has similar option like shaolin version for individual trade sl and tp
5. Still have pts, $ and equity sl and tp - but I dun like to use this one - but I didn't remove it
6. Has wait x boxes bf opening trades
7. Has option to trade every x candles
8. Has minimum distance btween entries

I believe folks over here who are experience in MT4 ea, so they can do something about putting any good filter from this modified ea

Lastly please test it first before going to live

Traded EU during Tokyo for 1 cycle only but closed the trades at the DO line.......

Remember its a big news day so keeping multiple trades open on an M1 chart is probably not wise!

MM, i was lucky to get away with a +10%, as soon as i hit it i got out (i ran away..haha)..but there was a time during the trades that my avg. was -50%, so you can imagine the psychology..hehe

Yes I can only imagine........... 50% DD must feel really painful....... until you pull out through the other side and into profit and hit massive euphoria!!!

Perhaps rethink your strategy next time around.

Hello Shaolin, Cipan, Vlad & All,

I did some comparison for "quantum EAs" (Vlad v.1.6.1, Quantum_Shaolin-121-modified-cipan, Quantum_v161-simple-version). Why these EAs did not close the orders on the right point? Is it the weakness of this EA? Or there is something wrong? If so, manual close is better than EA works. Please check the attachment.

I am looking forward to hearing from you guys.

when I do backtest I always see the opening and closing, strange...
anyway, can you post the set file for the simple version and period of backtest

Yes, it is the same QDE and QDC. Hereby I attached the set file. Please check it out

Not only, your simplified and modified EA, the original Vlad v.1.6.1 also closed the trades wrongly (for me). It can be profitable if it closes correctly or properly. Lucky, I closed those trades manually yesterday
