It is not my job to get something from the market, success, financial success is a side effect here.
I am here to do my job, to learn, to take trades, to adhere to rules, result does'nt depend on me only, I have no control over the market.
Moreover result of a single event or even of a series of entries is completely irrelevant so I really dont care I want even to take bad trades, because I can not analyze my entries "not taken" or taken "in mind".
I expect that my statistics will be good in six moonths time, not today, not this week, not even this month. It would put unnecessary pressure on me and also would be unwise taking into account that I am a beginner here.

Hi Clive, I have a question regarding choosing the most strong pairs Assume you want to choose most trendy pair, You look at Currency Meter and see that currencies have strong, moderate and weak currencies, however they are changing FREQUENTLY ( going up and going down in minutes or in seconds ) You look at Top Trender indicator and see top pairs sloping down or up ( The slope of MA ) I have a conflict on decision making , The rule says, entering first and second CCI ob/os has much higher probability of success because we enter at the starting point...
1. TTIndi spots a strong trend and frequently it is too late to entry, first and second CCI signals are gone. But I would trade next signals also if "the road is clear" means that there are no news, no strong sup/res levels. I hope this is logically sound, now I'll test it on the market.
2. The second class of Clive's entries are entries when 175 lwma changes color. Here Clive takes entries close to 75 lwma - but as he writes the crossing 35 lwma and 175 should be powerful - to avoid choppy market. I understand that there should be a sign or a reason for reversal present.
3. The third class of entries are I believe waiting for the ends of corrections (M15, H1, even D1) - hoping for strong moves we can join using Clive's entries and ride for hundreds of pips. I will work on this later this month.
4. Frequently I see that after long consolidations there are strong moves, entry method is the same, this way needs study also.
5. Clive, for some time, used TTindi with 8 large ADR pairs opened on a second platform - trying to spot periods when 175 lwma changes color. I believe it is a good add-on when you know and feel this system.
6. Results from Currency Strength Meter are sometimes good, at this moment I dont use them as a way of choosing a pair (choosing which pair to enter) but rather to have an additional confirmation when I am in a trade (to remain in it when readings are proper) or to enter in a riskier place (example - two lwma have different color) because we are trading the strongest against the weakest so move is more probable.

This number 4 is OK, requires patience
I have some additional ideas as for example a sharp reversal from a strong up/down trend on H1 - freguently market moves hundreds of pips, the same is when long term trend lines are broken.
My study will go in this direction - to catch larger moves, but currently I am learning the ropes, I am a beginner and it will not change in several months

Couldn't of said it better myself, I am developing two ways of trading the same method, like you say trade the strongest trending 5 min from the TTindy is very good and enter when the 35 turns same way or price crosses it in direction of the 175, you can either hit the trade as it crosses or play safe by waiting for the next CCI signal after it crosses. Price usually pullsback to the 35 for another powerful move with the trend.
How I view this method is the 5 min 175 is the flow of the river so we want to be trading our 1 minute downstream not up stream..Therefore once you have a strong trender on the 5 min, lets say up. then all you need to do is find the ideal place to enter a buy entry . The CCI going oversold is an ideal place to try, not always guaranteed a success of course but increases your chances.
think of it as the 5 minute trend being your direction indicator so only trade in its direction so we have to catch the 1 minute trending up and the sooner the better so as soon as the 35lwma turns green in an uptrend try to jump on board asap, either on the cross of the 35 or the next couple of CCI signals.. Thats what I was refferring to when I say get the first 2 CCI signals , I didn't mean on the 5 minute top trender because you're right its too late by the time its come to the top but you will see a possible 5 wave move on your 1 minute 35lwma so grab the two up ones if you can.
Look at this 5 minute top trender EURAUD and you will see what I mean...
Now I'm not saying to trade the 5 wave elliott move at all but what I am saying is can you see how the 35lwma marks out the waves in the 5 minute trend. You can also see the ideal place to enter each move is when the 1 minute trend (35lwma) turns back in line with the 5 min trend (175lwma).
also note best moves come off of the 175 when the 35lwma comes back to it...You can also see that the first two CCI signals after each colour change on the 35lwma are ideal entries. Not gauranteed but definately an edge worth trading..
Ok so to conclude Subrina when you're trading a strong 5 min trend then look to take the 35lwma in the direction of the 175 then look for your first two CCI signals...
Actually lets have a look at that chart above without the candles messing it all up and we can see how the 35lwma clearly marks the waves out for us...
Now can you see where you'd like to enter????

High probability is that every strong trender will actually turn into a ranger so I've learnt to just trade each ABCD move as a single move, just been let down too many times to mention. Trade in the direction of the 175 but don't expect it to run for ever as it won't more often than not...
The bottom line is to assume that every turn is the start of the next trend but we just don't know for how many pips 10 or 10,000 who knows??? And you never will, but what we do know is that every good move does start exactly the same way, with a turn on the 35lwma.. If its green we're trending up, if its red we're trending down but for how long nobody knows???
Trade the turns, get in as near to the start of the new move as you can grab 20 pips one half and hold on the 35lwma for the second half..If the 175 has just turned then maybe hold on the 175 turn turtle style but be prepared for a lot of heart break hotel along the way...
