The whole day, fine-tuning, recompiling thus starting the EA over and over again it did still well.
And btw. i never trades lots bigger than 0.01 while testing just vor the better overall picture.

This is not bad results as we had multiple reversals today. Is it basket management or SLTP?
Will we get soon the new version? And maybe some set files we all can work on to fine turn?

Hmm, +140 pips was not bad at all. I also used James setfile from post #10212


Here is my results for today, completely different. No trades is closed yet! All trades still open (without stoploss/takeprofit).

There is a problem w/ V3Q.
You are using a single session. That DOES work. I've tested it w/o problems.
If
you try using multiple sessions.. it does not work and fails to start the subsequent session(s).
the DPMV3 session controls (using local times) works w/ multiple sessions.

ok thanks for the feedback but FYI i was only using the single london session as per james' setfile. a restart of the mt4 terminal did the trick


question for james: is the lack of full tp/sl internal handling really an issue for your setfile or is the emergency sl/tp handling pretty much sufficient for now? haven't heard anything from hotpotato for a while regarding the released of full version v3q / r

The lack of full tp/sl internal handling is really an issue for my set file. This morning has the dashboard despite emergency sl / tp in most trades no sl / tp set, so I had again to close manually the trades.

It's better to lock or close once you see it in profit.. Things go in reverse most of the time at NY open. I switched on the EA by 10 am EST and got lucky. got some 650 pips.. still demo though..

good to hear... I may try again... I gave up trying to use session controls...
I was experimenting w/ a session close all strategy w/ no sl/tp...
it would shut off @ the right time...
but
I wanted it to reset/restart w/ new entries.......
it would remain shut off no matter what I tried I could not depend on it.
So I manually turn on/turn off/close all...
it's similar to basket trading only using time instead of $$$.
