Disliked{image} Quiet on the thread again In short on the EURUSD. The trade is up at the more risky end of the spectrum for me... On the face of it, it is a simple aggressive C coinciding with a smaller AB=CD. The problems are twofold: 1. There was no weakness in the CD leg, in fact it slightly accelerated 2. The D point popped price just above a mid round number. Price now needs to fight back through the RN to go in my direction. Notwithstanding these points, the decision to enter was based on the lack of price's ability to move cleanly away from the...Ignored
Dislikedand looking at this on the GBPUSD. No harmonics, just a straight breakout pullback order flow and PA trading set up. {image} Update: 0650 PST engaged short on the GBPUSD. Stops are a little further then usual but so is my reward. looking for a move down to 1.5110Ignored
Disliked{quote} Good call on the GU short! I looked at that setup but I was hesitant of the proximity to the nested area in yellow. But price really didn't have a problem going through there to a nice 127 overextension. Good job! {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey honest nice to see you keeping the thread going with some great trading. I was just catching up with the thread, so a quick question if i may, i noticed that you do your fib extensions in an unusual way. rather than dragging the extension back to the original point, you drag it back to the last high/low. was just wondering if theres any particular reason for doing it this way. The only reason i ask is when you were explaining fibs a few posts ago, you explained that 1:1's were math based and that a 61.8 retracement would line...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thanks dude. But my trade management was Terrrrrible on this one. I totally expected price to push much lower. I was wrong and only took +15 when I was up 60. I was tempted to exit earlier but I didn't want emotions (fear) to manage my trade. On a positive note, at least I didn't turn a winner into a loser. {image} {image} Eurusd was a loser. stopped for -20. Kind of a brutal Friday for me. To be honest. I didn't give my trades the attention they needed today. Just to many things going on.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Oh I've certainly been there too my friend! I've heard it said before and I'm inclined to agree: the exit is more important than the entry. I'd also say it's more difficult too! Strangely, I had been mulling this one over earlier on this week. What has a greater psychological effect on my trading: the fear of losing money or the fear of not making money. Subtly different things, I thinkIgnored
I probably will pass on this one unless something crazy happens to indicate bears are weakening and bulls want to take over for a bit.
RN will be my B/E point if PA signals me to enter
Disliked{quote} I totally agree. Exits are a lot harder. I find that most of the time, my entries are pretty good (not perfect, but I'll take pretty good). My trade management needs something to be desired tho. Lately I've been taking shorter targets (usually, next S/T or L/T structure) to get more wins and sometimes missing the bigger moves. Its something I've been trying to work on but to no avail. Right now, my goal is 75% of the L/T swings move. In that particular trade, I was think, with the USD strength, it was worth the risk to shoot for larger targets....Ignored
