still playing it didn't work so for now will just manuel move it its not a big deal also have my cursor on stop and I know number ahead of time

yep, couldnt see how to have 15 as a hard target with a trailing stop, getting the ts to stay 5 behind once it hits 13 is easy

how did you get stop moved to +8 after you were up 13

The final pic is the orders that it automatically places at the start, you can see 20 tick initial stop, the other orders kick in as required.


edit/: last pic is a test but not sure it followed the rules I set out.



trade 2 lots, one target 20 one 40 initial stop 20, be +1 after 8 ticks, trail stop lock in 8 ticks after 13, then 5 pip trail up to the first at 20 ticks and the second at 40.. untested.​

under brackets, choose trailing stop, put 13 for the trigger value, 5 for the distance and 15 for stop loss

after I do that do I change it back to simple bracket to put order in or just leave it at trailing stop to enter trade

Hi where does it say brackets in sierra, I can only find the controls above that I posted.??

Use simple bracket--set target,,,in the center you choose triggered trailing stop, then set trigger at 13 and trail offset at 5.....Use the bottom part to set your BE trigger at 8 and offset at 1...Been using for a good while and it works way better and faster than I could do it....Set it and forget it..

Under trade tab--open trade window for chart, then do all your set ups in the window, then I trade from the chart... you can exit the window and it will control all trades...

leave it on trailing stop, to set a hard target just click on buy/sell at 15 (opposite of entry), once it hits the hard target the trailing stop will go away, at least on initial test
