Interesting way of seeing harmonics... Are you drawing all sections (1/8, 2/8...) by hand or using some indicator?
If so, can you share? As far as I know, most of Murrey Math indicators are not very precise, do you have one you trust?

Almost perfect trade for me...

1. Strong move up.
2. Retracement straight to the yellow line.
3. CCI was below -100 and is increasing.
4. Microtrendline is broken in one smooth move.

Of course it is not a good time and average range is too small.

im struggeling a little bit with the system i have a few question hope you have the time to answer
* do you trade with the ttindy with 12tfback and 15tfback i ask this because when i get the strong charts they are always very late in the trend and most of the time on the signal cci 8 1 min they go the otherway giving me a loss or is it me that i'm impatient
** here is my struggle point do you keep this chart open and wait for a 5 min pullback/cci8 signal and then go to the 1m tf? or how long to what point do you keep it open???
*** i scaled down to the top 2 or 3 to slow down the signals(toomuch to handle) but when they change do you stil keep the first one that did not produce a good signal (see**) open
it stressing me out a little bit because i i know what to do but its not working out when i check the charts later i see and understand all the ssignals ect ect but when i get the charts from ttindy it's most of the times after all has happened

hope you can clarify me

This is a decent one for MT4 I think one marked with a X is the best, I use one from marketscope for the charts I post

Clive,dont mind that deviltrader.He is full of himself.He was the one that shunned me a certain time when i asked you some question,im sure you remember when he asked me to read through all the thread and come back to ask my question as if he was the one i asked the question.You would have done better barring him from this thread. One of my fav Murrey Charts I was well into trying to understand Murrey in 2012 its a 10year monthly gbp/cad chart if I had only new what I was doing then and had a few bob to spare ? its funny now scalp 1min charts with the same method but not on a 128 cycle

Last post just to bore you to death, (you can see I like Murrey) a 32 day cycle of same pair, what do you think are good levels to trade from with Clives I min method ? sorry guys got carried away a little, I will give it a rest now

Dumb-ass again, I now have an Indies folder TTIndy with three indies in it, do you only attach the Top 28 one to the chart for TT to operate or
do you attach all three,thanks for your reply ystdy Caps. Also the other Indies like Colour MA, Slope alert and Clives CCI etc. seem to have totally different
default settings and I have no idea what to set them at???

Thanks for the link, indicator works...;-) I was trying different systems, still using harmonic patterns, but now not as a primary one - only for confirmation. I decided to use Clive's system, but trying to catch some suport/resyistance levels.
Murrey looks handy. Everything what helps as a confirmation is useful, isn't it?;-)

Yes totally agree, 256, 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4 are the main Murrey numbers but with Clives 1 min method I set the indicator to 1440 being how many minutes in a day, now do not forget you will get what he calls a chart shift every time price leaves the square, then the indicator re-sets its self, think of the 8 blocks mentioned in the pdf as the 8 levels ie 0/8ths to 8/8ths, play with it have some fun

Currently I have opened a CAD/JPY trade but in the meantime I scalped a small countertrend move.

Reason: market couldnt go higher fourth time at this level, I waited looking at ticks when it extended up I entered on the top of that short move. It was essentially catching a falling knife but.. from a well respected resistance so it is pretty safe to do, imho of course. 12,5 pips plus.

CAD/JPY trade

Reason of entry: training mostly, CCI and long LWMA OK, short LWMA red so this trade was riskier.
TP short, as there is a strong resistance (triple or even quadruple top).

Normally I wouldnt take the trade (also due the fact that it is not a first or second CCI signal) but it is a practice time, how to take a buy/sell stop trade, how to manage stop, how to manage an open position.

Exit - trade started smoothly and when it stopped in a resistance area I exited.

Hope its OK just to pop this up to show another Clive winner, I mention Murrey numbers well to do it by the book I should go
32 64 128 256 512 1024 with this in mind my Daily charts starting at 22.00 -22.00 is now set to Murrey 1024 a perfect Clive trade popped up at 10.07am, the grey area is just the 22.00 opening 1 min bar so you see we have not been above the open so far today, just to be clear its the 1 minute chart that's set to Murrey 1024 GBP/USD chart

Another training entry.

Analysis: 30 pips below is a strong resistance and market moved significantly today so this entry is for a quick scalp only.

Entry from sell stop SL initially 15 pips as it is a pair with circa 5 pip spread. CCI signal OK. I posted this sell order three minutes before under first red candle after a long green one. After market exploded up I thought thai I will remove this order but decided to wait if signal candle occurs higher - then I would move order up under the new signal candle. But market got me by surprise so I didnt have time to react.
After a while it was a 10 pips plus, so I moved stop and secured a position.

Exit - I waited to exit at the nearest low, saw a some kind of a strong trembling there ans should close but after a couple of seconds I decided not to waiting what will be next.

Market slightly moved up and finally I closed this position for 14.1 pips.
