Hi Ozziedave,

At this stage I use the EA to open and close all trades for all pairs in the Asian session with their own unique settings.

Some groups of trades (sometimes I close out a few trades within a given cycle of trades) will be closed manually.

The longer a cycle of trades continues to remain within a range without closing out and depending on the chart I may modify the QDC exit value such that the exit level will cause all trades to close in profit but price action techniques are also applied and if I feel that price is going to miss hitting the target then I'll consider closing out some or all manually on a case by case basis.

hi mate , maybe try with higher time frame's 15 min / 30 min one hr and put 200 on MVA also combine it with the trending indicator u made with HH/HL/LL/LH

EURUSD [M1; 135 - 135]

2 cycles of trades (1 long + 1 short)

16 long winners

5 short winners

3 short losers (result of exit signal box appearing at an inappropriate price level, could have been avoided by being more focused on the chart and setting a higher exit Q value or TP set hard at the DO line)

It is possible to track the expected Q reverse signal box location in real time which I have done for many other cycles of trades but missed doing it for the EU today.........

Note: 2 pre-Tokyo Open long entries entered due to minor delay in setting the trade window time slot.

4 pairs (I actually traded 5 pairs today........ ) keeps me busy enough considering 2-3 cycles per pair per day!

The idea of entering trades and managing those trades is a very satisfying way to trade.......... different but satisfying nonetheless!

1. Analyze and select choice of pairs to trade for the current day;
2. Gather pair data and determine ranges and then Q values;
3. Apply the EA with individual EA magics and settings;
4. Manage and modify above trades as necessary;
5. Monitor rolling profit and DD; and
6. Close out trades as required
7. Count your $$$ (the best part)

I am following the original Q325 and for yesterday it was really bad, wasn't it?
I ask MM what idea he uses for his hour entry, his parameter (why 125, 250, 300, etc?), in base of what he chooses the pair?

If you read the last few pages, you will find the answer. MM did a great explanation to this recurring question ...

But the ideal would be to start from the beginning ... Post #1 until the last page

Hi all

Here's an entry just taken on one of my trades today, it's on the 4hr UC chart, and illustrates a longer t/f kind of entry.

My criteria is met as indicated in yellow rectangle. I'm looking for a 2:1 rr ie 60 pip s/l and 120 pip tp initially.

As usual I will adjust stops and tp as the trade progresses, and add on at the appropriate signal if I get the chance.....note, this trade may take a day or two to play out, but it's at a relaxed pace, which may suit some traders, and not others.

I suggest reading the thread as I have posted several comments regarding choice of Q value...........

I started with 1 pair on the GU then to a few pairs until now I trade 4-5 pairs a day during the Asian session mainly.

The following has been mentioned several times already but I'll repeat it 1 more time:

1. Decide on a trading window
2. Choose a pair or pairs
3. Determine maximum and average trading ranges (to anticipate likely price ranges moving forward and to set global SL as required)
4. Determine Q value based on boxes being printed inside desired boundaries
5. Including the frequency of entries desired
6. Adjust Q value if required as trading progresses based on price action, ranges and time
7. The Q value may also remain the same from 1 day to the next based on trading ranges being respected/broken and the overall trading strategy

Note that Q is selected as above with different values for different pairs (usually not always) based on my trading plan for the day.

anyone considered 5m quantum stoch eint 650 ?
i'm trading 9 pairs and they show consistent profit although trading is not intra day and may take 5 days to close one trade.

Hi J, that is wonderful J...I'm impressed with your tenacity to try....you've done well .

You will notice that the lower window is redundant on mine now, and I don't think you really need it either tbh...but that's your choice mate.
