Thanks OAPDave, though I'm still none the wiser, though it appears to be something to do with breakout boxes , I'm sure it would all make sense if I scanned more of the posts. I'll let the thread get back on track!

Yes you have got it 8.00am 9.00 am breakout using the box spread as a stop and the lines are Murrey Maths I used to use Pivots but now like Murrey better, they give me an idea of targets added to Daily Range

I wish to thank you for all the work you have done on this thread, as you know I have never been a fan of the 1 min much prefer a more simple set and forget approach, having to admit cannot always start the day when the cock crows hence my method but I have kept watching your work and can now add your method to mine, in my case after 9.00am. I know for a fact how well you are now trading and gathering pips, you have now cracked it, so go for it, you deserve it, you are a true gentleman and now I can add for a fact a great trader. I will just finish by showing you that I have learnt not only your method but also how to post a screenshot of my scalping (CLIVE'S METHOD) screen with my added levels to help with my use of range and targets, cannot get a CCI like yours for my chart package so I have left off what I use. So once again all the best you will not need any luck because you just need to carry on how you have been going this week.

Thanks Dave for your kind words much appreciated and yes I am having a great week trading with you know who...

But if I'm doing well, my trading partner is hammering the pips with 530 in yesterdays London session alone....

Absolutely unbelieveable I know, but true....

But heres something else, we've only just touched the tip of the iceberg, theres plenty more where they came from...

Glad to hear you're giving my scalping method a go too, just one tip for you Dave put the TTindy on set to the 5 minute master with just the top 4 charts opened and trade in the direction of the 5 minute top trenders, you won't believe the trades you're catch...

Price oscillates you have two main periods. First, bigger red and blue lines, second green and pink ones. In this picture you have a composition of two oscillations. But It is not all. To take a position Hurst used second confirmation that price is really, in real time behaving according to the forecasts - envelopes.

Simply the valid signal (as I understand it now) is when you have BOTH the forecasted hi/lo from the composition of oscillations AND price cuts through the bands. It means that both indicators are saying the same thing - "this is a peak or a valley" (oscillator) and "price is at ist extremes" (envelopes).

OK, after that intro as far as I know now, in Hurst system we should have TWO indicators envelopes (which we have) and also an oscillator (which we dont). I have found something which might help us:

But throwing these indices on a chart I dont see nothing special. Maybe we should find someone who has experience in using Hurst system in small time frames? It is always better to study from someone who knows than trying reinvent the wheel. Maybe I will write to the author of the thread above from FX Code Base.

Hi Twobooks

Great stuff but so far removed from what I do so may I kindly suggest that you start a new thread based on the Hurst envelopes system and please not start it here as I am not gonna be around much longer so will probably not be posting to my thread on a regular basis. like I said earlier its run its course I have arrived at my destination and so has the thread...

So please with my blessings start a new thread around the Hurst system and feel free to use anything from my thread that you want...

I will gladly support you and pop in occasionally whenever appropriate..

but if the thread has run its course for you then why not allow the guys to continue the work in the direction they feel fit.....only other option is to stay and continue to help them.Now you got what you want with others help dont you think your being selfish and unfair by running off like a kid with its ice cream???
im not meaning to be horrible but all along your here teaching....now you say you got the pot of gold your not going to stay and tell everyone what you got.Eg a full comprehensive posting of your final system with template indicators and video.....You championed the teachings but now wont show or share your final product that a pro trader has helped you with the final jugsaw piece.I didnt have to post anything cos im successful trading but im still here to help.....what about you clive?? Stay and help everyone....im sure they will be quick to agree with me

Ok in the past I have encouraged all ideas etc on this thread but I think its time I insisted that you take your Hurst strategy to a new thread, there is no need to confuse anyone here who is trading my system so please take your Hurst strategy and start a new thread....

This is my thread and I do not want any other strategy here just the ABCD , I want it simple , price goes up or down thats it, find a chart that is clearly going up or down then trae the ABCD moves within it...

Simple as ABCD....

So please remove this post and go start a new thread, theres a good chap.....

No my friend there is no change to the system it is as I stated on page 416 http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...35#post8458835 . Its very clear what we are doing,

 

  1. We find a strong trend using the TTindy on the 5 minute master
  2. Wait for our 35lwma to move in the same direction as the 5 min trend then take the first 2 CCI signals in the new move.
  3. Bank half when the price falters
  4. Bank the other half when the 35lwma changes colour.

Thats it my friend the only thing I was going to mention this week end is that I now sometimes hit the trade as price comes through the 35lwma and I hold the first half until the 35lwma changes colour and hold the 2nd half until the 2nd half until the 175 changes colour...

I don't think so Mary there is no edit facility coming up but I'm sure devontrader will be kind enough to remove it and start a new thread about Hurst envelopes etc. I think it is a good system and has some merit but its not what we're about here anymore.

I'm back to my roots where I started on my very first post about my strategy the early charts are exactly like these new ones.

I think whats interesting about my thread over the last 15 months is its a typical traders journal where it follows my development and how I had the right idea right from the start but like all traders when a new idea comes along I have a go at it, after all the trader introducing it seems to be making it work so we get diverted from one way to the next, constantly looking for that Holy Grail.

But of course it doesn't exist we just have to accept we have losers and as long as our winners are bigger than our losers we can have a positive expectancy from our system. then its a simple matter of tweaking it to improve its efficiency..

My thread is a testimony to how most traders find their way , switching from one idea to another and then coming right back to how they started and finding something that works for them...

Trading is so very personal and we each have to find our path, thats what I've done and I'm absolutely delighted with where I am, try my strategy and see how you get on, you might have to tweak it to personalise it to your thinking but trust me it works very very well...

I wish devontrader and twobooks all the best as they follow their path too just not here on my thread please thats all I ask....

I think I've confused people enough with my toing and froing from one system to another but now I'm home for good...

Trading really is as simple as ABCD.....
