sorry (FOMC monitoring) i am pretty sure i and i think ed could correct me but they have to have an open position.

on my broker 1 lot is = equal to 10K (leveraged). that would be roughly 2M USD leveraged. they would still be underwater if open at this point

The money makers buy it up so all the retailers put in buy orders to they can sell and make more in the market. Happens every time their is a big announcements

I just would like to find out did anybody else will have the same point of view- That the down move from 0.726 was a jerk reaction and if thats the case aud/usd will go back there, which is around 100pips

iron ore looks to be getting ready for another fall next week. i think i'm entering this pair tomorrow targeting new lows and a 600 pips profit. looks like a nice entry point may form tomorrow.

I don't think .726, although .720 would be a good trade, that's my aim anyway.

But as someone has said, don't base your decision on what someone says on a forum, although its always good to get people's sentiment.

WOW last nights FOMC definetly caused a shitstorm on the pairs.

I hope you people played it safe....congrats to the longs again also.

Went long again and my TP hit last night at 0.72389 and woke up with $$$

The bloody fucker went up to 0.7273 !!!! INSANEEEEE

I have a another open long from the bottom with open TP....lets see if this baby can go
all the way to 0.73.....

There have been opportunities long and short recently and will probably continue to be so. Personally I am still wary going long and have only done so sparingly. I was shorting on the way up last night and made profits on the way down.

Looking at USD index the rise in A/U was due to US weakness. The fall in A/U is due to resistance / Aussie weakness. Confirms for me that the highest probability trades are still shorting on retrace (with careful money management).
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I survived the spike up yesterday, added more shorts instead above .72.

I agree with dab and i will be cautious being too overly long on this pair. You may ask why?

1) China isn't in good shape and won't be anytime soon
2) Commodities are likely to stay low
3) USD will strengthen after the dust settle, as long as FED is looking forward to a rate hike, USD will strengthen until FED really hike than will it weaken (initially)

That's my humble opinion
