Nonetheless, this is my 4hr chart for today. I don't see any bearish 4hr candlestick.
Update: In fact i am waiting for this bullish 4hr close to add more longs.

I need to put it to you again guys, the Australian parliament is currently in limbo with a very volatile situation. The prime minister may no longer be prime minister come another hour or two, will this affect the currency at all? If the prime minister is voted out tonight could the currency be affected?

Yes. Spill vote at 2115 SYD time. If Turnbull gets in, expect an AUD rally as he is deemed to be more pro-business and economically astute

So if Turnbull does get in, could that mean a potential reversal of the aud? Do you think it would be enough to stop the continual aud fall?

No. When I say rally, I mean short term. Markets will sort out the AUD by Thursday. Turnbull impact may be to minimise impact of forthcoming recession compared to Abbot at the wheel

Target hit .7150. Enough for the week. Will be off for some relaxation for the rest of the week and let markets fight it out for FOMC.

I think its hard for AUD to rise up because Yen is weaker.
So, today AUD will not break to 0.72xx.
That is my prediction..

Rather dovish RBA statement, warns of a gloomy economy ahead. .72 may not be within reach in my view.

Resistance at .7155 in play as of now.

Sustained break of 0.7100 mark confirms the short-term "Rising-Wedge" by the AUDUSD, making it vulnerable to test 0.7000 psychological mark soon.

hi guys, new here. but not new to forex!

this is merely a pre-fomc rally.... only if the hike is pushed back then we'll see the rally extend i guess. can't imagine the aud climbing beyond the mid 0.71s for now!!

looking through charts (M15) this might be the A-B- leg of a bear butterfly
mid ended at a .786 retrace.
