Billyt,

To recover a bad trade I know you countertrade, but if you're already -20 from the first trade, what size do you use in the second to recover ? the same size and look for 20 pips instead of 5 ? or use x4 size and look again for +5 to elimate the first loss?

Hello Pipradar,, the o4-00 candle ( the 4 hour one) it broke long, it doesn't matter which time candle did it, But it broke. I was expecting it to continue for at least 10 but it didn't..Thing is I trade lines/triggers as the method but I was expecting it to drop. You can see how I have spoken the last few days even Claudia too..

A= the 04-00 (4 hour candle) ..High 15401 and low 15368.
The high was triggered and then retraced back down, It does happen,The low was broken for approx. 15 after spread

edit,,, the 10 was made on 15 min ORB then it dropped to DP

Hello DavidRP, get to -20 and then adjust it to keep trade running . Then counter trade. same lot size and then start to add to it as trade progresses. Perhaps a level is coming up, or pivot,resistance/support, 00 .This does not happen every day and it is better when UK or USA markets are open. You are basically muscling in..
Once in counter trade I am not looking for 5, Due to lot size when it does get fixed I always end up with a lot more than 5%

Hello. High was 54007 on 4 am so was very very close spread could cause discreprancy suppose.

My g/f got a gardener in to mow her very small lawn and he charged her £50 robbing bas oops, If I see him he shall receive a slap. SOOOOOOOO I bought her a second hand mower for £20 works perfect and I told her mow the lawn (or I shall) and then throw it away lol. She got the idea what I meant. I am not a scrooge but you don't make money by giving it away..

That looks odd but hey ho, Those are my brokers prices same broker as you Claudia. and I have no filters on software just Broker prices and midway, maybe that is it. be good

I have done trading for today, I don't think low will be broken but it doesn't matter as I will be out same for long.
A nice daily ib would be good for today and then we can have fun tomorrow Thursday, catch you later, be good all....

Cable hourly pivot.
Loser -just "nicked" into trade then booted out again by my stop = small loss
Maybe I should use a "buffer" of ,say five points etc, to lesson this problem. Or just accept it as the trials and tribulations of trading?

This was a great question..... and answer,,, I will be having a go with this, on Demo of course, to get the feel and money management in order, so I DON'T get battered to death with Lot size and account balance. Thank you again Mr B.

a new day 00-41 here, I just got in from dancing and it was brilliant.
Cable is on an inside bar on the Daily and very close to Wednesday Low, BUT no trigger no trade.
If it goes I shall be using multiple lots to try out my upgraded Pc. Lets see.
E/J nothing happening yet.
