I think you're onto something with aliens... But in all seriousness, you just need to find a way to generate consistent profits and stick with it. Most traders (myself included) cannot seem to stick with something long enough to see it through to profitability.

stocks are good to invest in the long haul. Forex is for trading. Scalp w big sizes. Swing with the trend w smaller positions. The long haul w forex is daily charts and interest rates. Scalping stocks is nuts. Better scalping indexes. If you are scalping stocks you have the leverage to swing indexes. Longer term the better. Scalping for Lamborghini's is probably not a good model

Look now, forums and chatrooms are usually places where people that don't know much are trying to get help from people that they think they could help. Now these beginner (but not necessarily) traders may ask questions that seem like nonsense to you, or even discuss in such a way about some (for example) indicator (that doesn't work for them) that you'll think they're trolls. I believe that nobody is here for chitchat or to make friends - for that we have Facebook
I'm not trying to defend FF, maybe there are plenty of idiots around. But so are in real life. It all depends on your level of understanding/tolerance towards others' opinions/deeds.

Forex, stock or whatever it is, does it really matter? If forex is really a losing game, why people still doing it? and if stocks are better than forex, so why forex traders in the world don't move to stocks trading? I may not know anything about stocks, but what i know is if people can do it, well we can do it too.
the simple way is like this : if you do it right, you make profit. If you do it wrong, you lose your money. end of story.

Charts are charts - if you cant trade forex you wont do any better at stocks........... Dont give up just go to demo for 6 months and learn from mistakes

Demo is useful for learning how to use the trading platform.
Demo is useful for people who know already, to check out new systems or algorithms.

Demo is not useful for learning how to trade, such a learning process is flawed by the lack of real-world pressure.

Instead use a really small account and trade micro-lots.
When you stop having to put money in to keep the account usable you are ready for trying bigger stuff.

I trade stocks and I do quite well at it.

'Trade' is the wrong word, I use no leverage and buy using careful picking techniques which have taken me years to evolve.
I typically hold whatever I buy for months or years.
I paid for my lessons in the usual way, and I still make the occasional mistake.

Stock market investing is cyclical.
There are times when opportunity abounds.
There are times when you can't fix the hole in the boat.
Another time when it might be best to beach the boat for a while may be just beginning.....

Forex is not cyclical, and therefore offers the possibility for consistent performance.
Forex requires a completely different understanding of what looks like the same stuff.

the conclusion is, it doesnt matter if you trade stocks or forex. as long as you can make money from it.

Forex is good when you have good strategy and good broker.. meanwhile stock is good if you planned long term and safe investment also you don't want spot-of-chest
Stocks is not leveraged.. it means you profit only little,while in forex almost all leveraged,you can profit much with the higher risk
You drove Mercedes fast you fast to arrived your desired place but ofcourse much risky you could face car accident..
While you drove Old care with slow speed you long to arrived but much safer to you..

IMHO stocks provide more movement, but with more risk. Forex is maybe easier to predict in terms of trends, but there are sharp moves in the opposite direction that take out traders with smaller accounts. Stock futures are one option I'm personally considering, possibly looking to shift there altogether.

I wanted to tell you that I am for the time tried many trading companies. Demo account is certainly not particularly plays a role in the selection of the company. For me it is important to the company is working on real accounts. But I always start with a demo. And I want to say that about a year ago, I found a more suitable option. Now I trade on a real account in the company accentforex
He started with a demo, too. They are all very comfortable and easy. Registration will not take much time. All available described. Most of all I liked that you can try to trade on all kinds of bills. Try suddenly like. Good luck!

I would agree that Forex is really hard to trade, I never got on with it either, I switched to trading the DAX, because it moves, I can trade the morning or evening and it has a very low spread. However the reason I could not trade was because I learnt all the wrong methods. Indicators are such a scam, based on price x number of bars ago, they will have no relationship to price now, indicators do not move the market traders do. An indicator shows the past, price shows the present, trade and learn to read price.

Price is sure as hell not random, anyone tells you it is is lost in numbers, not the market. Price wants to stop you out (because you placed your stop where everyone else placed their stop) the guys that move the market can only get filled at certain levels, so learn why orders get their stops kicked. Stop trying to fight the market, all the traders I know are trying to sell up moves and buy down moves, they do that because it is what they learned, from various book, don't do it flow with the market.

Patterns are another load of bull, I once asked a well know trader who I was dumb enough to pay $1,400 to mentor me, after a year. I got all of his analysis before the market opened, trade after trade failed. I learnt to lose like a pro, he kept telling me stick with it, the winning run will come. This is another crock of pure crap, you can trade and make almost all winning trades, certainly 80% and you can trade a 2:1 risk reward ratio. It took me 10 year to get it, I just did not give up.

Learn the right way and your account will fill up with cash.

Yup, mentors in forex look like scam to me because if they are indeed profiting in forex trading, they wouldn't even waste their time teaching someone when they can make thousands of dollars everyday in front of their computer

Books and Gurus admonish the aspiring forex millionaire to "go with the trend" (whatever that means) and not sell up moves and buy down moves.

"I learnt to lose like a pro"... Indeed, it's always been amazing to me that the muppet gallery (trading books, mentors, trading schools) profess that you have to lose in order to win..

On a general basis that appears to be true. However the real problem is to find a mentor who knows how to teach as well as knowing what they are talking about. There are some philanthropic wealthy people who have 'enough' and are prepared to share their knowledge.

The first question to ask a fee-charging potential mentor is "show me evidence of the pile you have made from trading".
