I did two very very stupid trades, I post it to show you that today is not just winners, got lossers too. This is because I dont wait for the wrigth setup. Take the trades in the rectangle area. Edit: Im like a dog with a brand new bone, this spreads are awesome.

1. It is unclear to me how you use this general strength meter of currencies (on the ringt side of chart). DO you have a general picture of what is going on in the markets?

I took two positions, both in plus, taking the most strong and most weak pairs - but reading last couple of post I see that you use Top 1 (35 LWMA) as your main indi, not the general meter... Are there any posts before to clarify your decision process regarding general, Top8 1 min and Top 8 5 mins?

What picture of the markets you hace combining Top 8 on 5 mins and 1 min? I suspect that M1 is for quick scalp, up to 15-20 pips. I see that the picture of markets are changing rapidly, as today - firs most of the pairs were red, now they are green..

2. Second question is about moving averages, do you have any "best" periods (175 and 35 for example)? I see in various templates MA-s differ. IS there a post with further explanation of this?

I know that at the London Open you wait with Top8 M1 main pairs open - to catch the moment of crossing of MA-s (or changing colors) to catch the main move of the session, is this correct?

I'm afraid the threads method has changed on a regular basis as I've tried to modify the system as I go , so I'd suggest reading the last 20 or so pages maybe last 10 even to get the jest of it as it is now...

The main thing is I try to follow the money as it comes to the table at market opens, trading any other time is a bit of a lottery... I do this by trading the strongest trending 1 minute trends in the direction of the 5 minute trend.

I define trend by the 35 lwma on any timeframe. But as I trade the 1 minute then I have a 175lwma which is the 35lwma from the 5 minute timeframe. (35 x 5 = 175).

I take 1 min cci signals in the direction of the 5 minute trend using my CCI entry system as detailed in this post...

I try to trade the strongest trends only as designated by my TTindy which monitors the slope of the 5 min 35lwma so when you do catch a trade it should go with some ooomph behind it..

Thats the basics of it but it is built on the ABCD pattern for entry looking to join the trend on a pullback entry with piont C identified by my CCI being oversold in an uptrend or overbought in a downtrend, selling wave tops in a downtrend, buying wave bottoms in an uptrend...as per this post..

If you read through the last 10 pages or so you're get the jist of it all...

My TTindy plays a major role in it for me pointing me to the strongest trends on both the 5 and 1 min charts so I sometimes just refer to the 1 minute trenders but best results are when its in the direction of a 5 minute strong trender. Just be aware that a top trender won't necessarily mean its a winner as all trends end at sometime. I try to enter as early as possible in the trend advocating the first two CCI signals as the best so be careful if a top trender has signaled 3 or 4 times already as it could be getting tired and near the end of the move..

Recently working very closely with a setup pattern just after the LWMAs have crossed which is same time as the 175 lwma changing slopes..checkout this post

Do you know a very kind gentleman on my thread PMed me and suggested I should do a course on my trading method as he had been on one recently and it wasn't much to shout about but the guy charged 895 for a days training on how to trade forex..

No follow up, no ongoing support just a one day course....??? How shite is that???? Oh and he doesn't trade live either to show you how its done,

No surprise there thou as they never do , do they??? Wander why that is??? Can't trade train they say...

Well if I did do a course I would run a weeks boot camp training the basic method durring which I'd trade live everyday to demonstrate it and then I'd support them for a year with live webinars every morning trading live..

Oh and I would do a money back guarantee too, that if you didn't earn the course fee from the years trading then I'd failed you and I'd give you your money back..

No quibbles!! Why would I keep it if you couldn't trade after a year???? I'd of failed to deliver what you wanted, hadn't done my job had I???

Yep thats what I'd do , now how many so called Forex trainers would do that???

How many in fact could do that??? How many can actually trade live and make money???

Not many I'd wager...

Honest to goodness why do they do that.
Prey on the unsuspecting poor souls who are paying money for a leg up and instead get taken advantage of and left confused and angry

Yep you won't find one so called Guru who can trade live and show them what you're suppose to do, all they want is the hungry traders money then its "Thank you very much" and off they go never to be seen again, a bit like the perfect charts they show you on the training course..never seen again either...

Good question...

I'm actually trading the 5 min charts with 1 min entries so as long as you have a red 175 (5 min 35lwma) then I'm keen to sell any 1 minute CCI sell signals...

Have a look at same chart without the 35lwma...

See all the nice sell signals ??? The theorey is that just after the 5 min goes red we are in a downtrend and only looking for CCI sell signals , the vry best ones come off of the 5 min 35lwma as you can see...

Also checkout the market structure by comparing each time the CCI goes overbought and compare it with the last one, if its a lower high or double top take it, if not make sure it moves your way before getting in and even leave it, because if it does turn your way then the next CCI signal will either be a double top or a LH...

I prefer my charts without the 35lwma when I'm trading them but its nice confirmation when its there..

Hope that clears it up for you...

EDIT: If you're wondering why I didn't take the CCI signals in the middle it didn't take out any red signal candles by 2 pips, close but not quite...but if you do get a bad one just close it out soon as it goes against you , soon as it takes out your signal candle. These entries should just go your way and not come back...

Just want to show you "The Setup" works really well on these three charts, lwma seperation take the next couple of CCI signals....

Now I'm not going to say it works everytime but I will say every winning setup is the same, just can't gaurantee it will work everytime...

But if we start to get in early in these 5 minute moves then we can start to bank half hold half on the 5 min 35lwma (175) , suggest you use Pres78's paper break even where whatever number of pips you bank is the size of your runners stop, that way you might have a chance of it sticking and surviving the inevitable retest of your entry...

Also might get some big winners ...

I am trading live with Oanda. I decided on them because of the ease of withdrawing money from my trading account.
How readily available is your money at DMMFX?. Their spreads look awesome compared to my current scenario.

haven't had the pleasure of withdrawing yet but I guess its ok everything else seems fine so no reason to believe it would present a problem, check em out on forex army ,,,
