you wanna see something funny (sad) - check out the UVXY Sept & Oct calls, you coulda bought $45/$50 calls a couple months ago for $1-2, they've gone above >$40 today, with UVXY up $20 to close at $87.50. I will look at ways to fade the spike but I know its hard to do in UVXY....

(look at Sept4/Oct1 deep put spreads)

UVXY gone from $25 to $87.50 in nine trading days. Maybe vain hope to fade it but you can look at cheap put spreads in Sept4/Oct1 down around $35 or lower - getting filled is another story. idk, though - to get back down there I think you'd need to see a steady rise for SPY back to >$205 & I'm just not sure that can happen in late September....

you absolutely can not fill the UVXY puts diagonal below for 4c, and the P/L will absolutely look nothing like that after the iv crashes - note iv 240% on the short leg...

filled the puts leg of the ASHR DD above for 4c, trying the call side @ $49/50 for 5c, might pay more, but the volume is very thin out there, will wait/see

Yeah it could... /ES and /NQ finishing session at daily highs... we could see another short covering rally.

There were 2 attempts to break support trend line on both /ES and /NQ... both failed, both were false breakdowns (pic somewhere above)...

I tried to fill the UVXY Sept4/Oct1 put diag shown just above.....for 1 penny...lol, a 1c mid but they wanted 20c, the shit is just too squirrelly to mess with. BUT...if you'd bought a 10 lot of UVXY Sept $50 calls a few weeks back, for $500 or so, they would have got you $40k yesterday....
