Was having lunch and got stopped by TP at 50. Didn't expect it to move so fast and furious within 1 candle.

Templates? I got a few I use for reference but default to HA set randycandle, last few I posted here are Randycandle. I have ADP set up as a template as well. There is not a lot of difference between Randys and HA, only randys load barchart candles on top of the HAs. Green for long, and I set gray for short so I can see them against my black background. Randy used black bars on white, to glarey for my eyes. In addition I have an ordinary candle template so i can quickly check if a currency is up or down on a day; green up, red down etc etc. I have a blank template set up if I want to throw odd indicators like news or maybe session times on but keep separate from the main charts. One set with a few divergence indicators as I'm not that good at finding divergence by eye. Finally I have a new one I stumbled across in one of Emmanuel's posts just a few hours ago. It's a monitoring EA TMS-monitor, part of it's set up is a template as well. Davit's is also in the mix from last week as I'm trying to figure a little more on how he trades.

Hi zef nice trading.
Everytime I get in early, I get I trouble. Other than divergence, and yesterday's high, what else is your trigger? What is RN? Thx

Hi ac,

RN = round number. I wasn't looking at divergence at all for this entry. I looked left saw last 2 NY sessions produced PCRF's at roughly same price. Checked my news calendar and didn't spot anything particular that could move that pair at that moment, so I then said IF price stalls, THEN I enter short with 20pip sl on top of the double top. I've seen so many of these aggressive long rallies bust into flames within 3-4 candles before...and I just felt this rally is nothing but hot air.

This does not always work...and I'm not encouraging anyone to do this.

I think I will stop posting such entries.

The unexpected Oil rally totally caught me off guard.Did not see it coming and exited my UC shorts way too early.
Its hard knowing the future for certain.Its a fine balance take 180pips and price could of turned up and lose the gains but in this case today I could of made a killing literally.
Its something I am aware.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

well, a jump of 8.8%, I don't think many people expected it to rally that much!
A good idea could be to hold one of you positions longer at BE so not costing you any added risk.

EU GU consolidating at 200ema and RN respectively. TDI looks good. High expectations for today's UK with red news on GBP.

hey brath - just by hand - no indi but there are a few indis around that can do the lines/zones [not exactly how i want] but this is something i chose to do by hand no matter wat
