I try to trial along this indi line manual. 3 pullback survived successful.
HP please include trailing with atr

Hello HP,

Check the screen shot.... Always have prob with tp, sl and trailing stop.... May be its a bug.... There i always find some strange input on sl / tp ... Check the CHFJPY tp ... Also trailing stop not work properly.... Here i put all manual trailing stop....

I tried the gap filter and others setting as default since Tokyo open until now... i didn't get any trade.
Can you give me some advice?

you need to post set file if you like help.

Hi HP,

I second Bernhard on this proposition and have in fact been waiting for someone to also think along this direction.

Since one of the biggest issues we are having with the Dashboard is that of using the best adaptive Stop Loss and Take Profit parameters, and also given the fact that most trading system make use of the Average True Range in setting this, can you please help us and include this option int he Exit Settings.

Going through Youtube with reference to either using the ATR or ADR, it was more of a common practice that the ATR was virtually the rule in determining Stop Loss and Take Profits.

Also, since we are trading a system that is based more on the momentum of the market, I think since the ATR gives us the average bar sizes, we are therefore better of knowing what bar ranges each particular pair moves and therefore set the multiplier to reflect our risk tolerance.

I think you have set your GAP limits under filter settings to high and low or your GAP timer to a small value (reducing GAP distance)

If you do not see a directional indicator pointing up or down there is no gap signal.

Nothing wrong, the GAP of 2.5 just isn't there.

TP/SL are very important. I'm testing trailing ( 12 - 10 - 2 ). Seem good for lock profits and let it run ( at least in slow market )

trBk = breakeven pips ( when touch openprice + trGap )
trEnable = trailing start pips

trMode == 0 ( trGap = pips diference for move TR; trMove = TR move pips )
trMode == 1 ( trGap = pips diference for set TR to same distance; trMove = unused )

trailing SL with atr manual.
look why pips dont work, 10 pip for audusd is much but for gbpnzd is very little
adr of audusd is 91 but for gbpnzd is 415
so atr trail will handle the different pairs
also break even must be atr and not pip. I do BE when line cross entry
if market move give more room for breath, if market quite trail will be shorter. It adapt to market conditions!
