Fundamental issue, I think, is wanting the practice of placing trades but seemingly not able to get much in the way of perfect setups in the time available, therefore the temptation is to try to make something out of a setup that is close (but then clearly higher risk).

Yup that is what's happening. Truth is babon entry rule traded by itself without higher TF filter analysis and if you trade it in any condition hit rate may only be 30% heh heh. Only trade when there's momentum the heikin ashi rule with TDI on H1 works but try confirming on M5 too if the pair you are looking at made a new swing high/low at the M5 and at the direction of H1 then and only then is when you look for an entry on M1. It doesn't help even if for example heikin and TDI is both bullish but there is no action on that pair. You might just get stopped out or get stuck in a channel. Try that Maddash indicator I suggested it tells you what pair is trending the most maybe it will help you too. For now keep things simple just focus on being profitable by confirming your indicators with price action swings hh/hl/ll/lh if you really like your indicators its fine but put more attention on price action. Once you are now consistently making money by watching price swings then you can experiment on other price action patterns. This is just a suggestion. As for me, I did not trade today as I am out all day on an errand. But I did not notice my account is already up 71% just this month alone and no I don't trade with very high leverage I only risk 1% sometimes 2% per trade. I was surprised of the growth because I stopped counting hah hah. I say this not to brag but to let you know it works maybe you just need more practice.

I traded a little early today normally I won't trade yet. But AJ set off an alarm early indicating momentum and I'm not busy at the moment so I gave it a try. Lost the first trade -10 then stop and reverse and made 23 pips profit. For a total of +13 on this AJ trade. I took the first entry long with small risk 0.5% of equity capital with a 3:1 TP as I took the chance since H1 broke the fractal box at the H1 then there's a double bottom. But it seems they are not cut out for it to keep going. Then reversed short as M5 made a new swing low. A low risk trade because this trade got a reversal potential if the first trade is wrong. Plus risk reward on the first trade is 3:1.

GU +7 and GJ +22

It was a mistake shorting GU as momentum is weak although I am on the right side of the trade. However, I grew alot of beard waiting. And, what's worst after I exited that's when it hit my profit target. However, I noticed momentum is better on GJ so as soon as I exited GU I went in on GJ the timing was perfect on this one. A break at the M5 fractal and a thru the cloud trade at M1.

And yup GJ and GU H1 are still in a downtrend.

Ahh ok, tnx maflip, so looking back through some of your posts and thinking of momentum initially....the below looks like it is going somewhere....

...but it's not really - if I adjust the scale to bring the TMA15 into view then it looks quite flat. So the past few days when I've been thinking I've been seeing momentum, I wasn't appreciating how big the moves were relative to a reasonably larger timeframe.

Correct, no volatility means its just you and a market maker. No matter how good of a system you have it will not work on low volatility. Most likely you are going to get stopped out. You want swings on a higher time frame the lower time frame is just the entry. So truth is we are scalping based on the higher timeframe.

Saw there was movement on GBPNZD - crazy spread but just experimenting :-)

There was a hook up on TDI & HA was looking positive. H1 was above the cloud. Big picture said long to me.

Unfortunately I'd missed the main move on M1, but tmaslope still showed nearly 2 on M15 so took at that timeframe and spotted the resistance at 2.4072 so bought on M1 when it broke through that with a TP on the TMA15 line.

Hello,,,

I am interested in checking this strategy out, I have downloaded all of the indis and templates. The indicators work, but the templates don't change anything but the background and candle colors. Please help by uploaded the presets for babon a, b and h1 template. I am in the process of reading all of the posts to try and catch up! Any highlights that anyone would want to point out would be great.

Good job you are in a right trade. NZD has been weak all day and with most of the other pairs. Except I traded NU short since the spread is better there. Good job good job keep it up! I was waiting for NZD to break that support all day and when it finally did I followed thru with the short.

This is taken after H1 breakout then took the M5 breakout.

I meant to show the one hour eurgbp chart cuz its got the TDI trending nicely above the 50 line and away from the red crossover line. I don't have the Bobon charts yet but will soon.

Still looking like a downtrend right? However, fib time on the M5 might be looking for a retrace at the 185.442 area. Well see but price action is still bearish on this one. It's just a huge move downward might have a huge retrace. Also, It hit a support down there.

you're in a similar boat then Poocher :-) ..... my midnight option is Tokyo (1am actually) but Favourite didn't trade it. Only way I made that trade yesterday was due to me being off a day.....time to get the thinking cap on to see what the options are to try to get some exposure while retaining the job.
