Interesting area to see what type of price action we get. Nice pin bar on the hourly initiating sell off back to channel support.

Will bulls be willing to hold long positions over the weekend? A late week rebound in equity markets gave a bit of risk on sentiment but one would have to believe there is still a bit of fear in the air. Still holding short myself as I believe the risk is still to the downside.

Agree with u. I'm a long term bear, short term bull on this pair. Lets see how PA react to the trendline. If it bounces off, i will add to my longs. Will start shorting from. 7250 .

Well, there was the expected bounce of about 13 pips, now its game time, lol

Also, on Monday there are some Chinese PMI numbers as well as the RBA cash rate decision. No changes expected but probably will see a bit of increased volatility.

For now, I think the Euro equity markets and US markets will be the driving force into tomorrow. Any sell off in equities may put a little pressure on the Ozzie.

Third test of channel support seen on the 5 min, a minor break below, let's see where the hourly candle closes. A close below opens the door to 7140 then 7120 area

Classic price action, as I was posting this, immediate 13 pip pop right back to the broken channel line

anyway, it is likely that RBA will hold rates nxt week. Hence, i foresee a minor rally on that.

we can never be certain. Anyway, doji on the hourly close. Shall just let this trade do what it needs to do while i start preparing for my weekends. SL and TP in place, shall see if this pair wants to treat me well or not. Haha.

As suspected, equities selling off a bit to end the week, and a break lower on risk off sentiment. A good ending to a wild week.

Glad I pulled the plug on my short at 7120, immediate 30 pip bounce up after closing, that leaves a very good taste in my mouth for the weekend
