The Power Meter is rudimentary at best..... First column on left is BidRatio..... Only this column is in descending order....the other columns on right of Heat Map are in normal sequence... The arrow on BidRatio column guages the current strength compared to 30M ago.... The default settings are what i am using on auto The Currency Meter, HeatMapModoki and Normal HeatMap i use for manual trading.... The only thing you need to do is to set the EA to auto.... HeatMapModokiV1 into indicators and Power Meter into Experts folder.... {image} {file} {file}...

The Power Meter is a simple version compared to HotPotato bot....

It scalps well at the moment......time will tell if it is sustainable....

I am testing 24hrs straight at the moment.....

If the dash opens too many trades in the negative i turn the auto Off and wait for it to normalize before switching to auto again....

It should work with all suffix.....

I will test it with a suffix Broker and debug.....

This could take a while as i am off to work now....

Got it.

The Heatmap is off, is it right?

Also, for FXCM, I changed from 3 to 1 per pair because I only can get one TP for one pair.

Hi HotPotato,

Thanks for the latest updates to the Currency Meter Dashboard.

Is there any chance at all that you are considering including the RSI(2) flexi filter that JibalaPasan introduced in #Post 7,351 and Post 7,363.

Although you have objected to part of the strategy in #Post 7,368, I still believe that it has a lot of merit having taken time to watch it after the Dashboard had given signal for a trade.

My observation shows that it really helps to filter out trades that have most of the time run out of steam or really lack the steam to make the intended move.

In my candid opinion, I would think of it like this:

1. Check if other signals set in the Dashboard are in place.

2. If a Buy signal, check if RSI(2) is greater than 75 - this can have an option of the user setting a preferable threshold other than the 75. And vice versa for a Sell trade.

3. Since JibalaPasan intended it for a TP<=10, the issue of not trading against the DO might not necessarily stand. Nonetheless, I think the user increases the chances of the trade going in his/her favor if they do not trade against the DO.

Since the DO option is already in the EA, deactivating the Sync index may therefore increase the chances of entering a trade when the momentum for that particular currency pair is strongly building up than waiting for other pairs of that currency to catch up with the same momentum. JibalaPasan can offer better advice here.

4. Exit Options could be as already suggested by braintheboss in #Post 7,365 or that of Bernhard in #Post 7,361. For a Buy trade, I'm considering the following options:
(a) The use of the RSI(2) returning back to a set threshold, fi 55, to trigger an exit.
(b) The BidRatio falling back to around 55% to trigger the exit.

5. The RSI(2) filter inclusion in the Dashboard would be great for those concentrating on trading single pairs manually.

Just my little thoughts while thanking you and hoping for a favorable consideration.


PS: I'm strongly of the opinion like Bernhard that we should add the option of exiting a trade when the BidRatio falls below a preset threshold, fi 55.
