Straddling

That's a pretty definitive statement. I think it would be more appropriate to say that your limits have never been missed. I would tend to refute that statement based on my own personal experience.

Gain say they don't have slippage either BUUUULLLLL ......... they just call it gapping Gain is bad as well!! I set my buy order in at 1.2727 this morning got filled at 1.2755 no slippage my butt........

I think that searching for a broker that does this or that or can do this or that is just as elusive as finding the Holy Grail. When the FOMC spoke last I just hung out and watched the FXDD spread on the EUR\USD. It went from its normal 2 pips to 10 pips before the release. I doubt they were the only ones that did that too. I'm not sure if there is a broker or platform that never widens their spreads during news or can gaurantee no slippage. Oanda??? I've heard talk that they are the best for no slippage or spread widening but I have no experience with them. If you are worried about slippage or spreads widening then don't trade during news releases...period. There you have it, as easy as that. Everyone trades a little differently. Some don't trade the news some do. If Oanda is as good as it gets and you want to trade the news, sometimes, then open an account with Oanda to specifically trade the news events and have an account somewhere else to trade....normally...not sure if that is the correct word here. But, there seems to be just as many opinions about trading as there are with what broker is better. That being the case, find the best shoe or shoes that fit and put 'em on.
