S&P500 crash actually started last Thursday. But, you're welcome.

I'm thinking a lot of people had their accounts blown with the 8:00am NY blast north (to say nothing of the poor folks who don't use a stop loss). And anyone who made money, got very very lucky to be on the right side of this stuff. No offense to anyone.

Thanks Griffin, to me it looked like a bounce trade, having waiting 30mins after NY to open...the TDi wasnt perfect as PA was past the ADR limits and TDi was entered overbought after London/Frankfurt morning session. It happens

perfect call SB - LO was no show for short but then the cross up looked weak with weak PA - when i saw the [mild] bounce i was in on the back of EU[still has not break TL] - my only problem was my PT was not +500pips

Nah, I don't watch fundies. Just pull up any S&P500 chart and look at it on a weekly / monthly basis.... the market goes up for 6-7 years, comes down for 18-36 months, goes up for another 6-7 years, comes down for 18-36 months. It does this every seven years, roughly. And the crashes frequently start in the autumn... say between August and October.

Here's an image from stockcharts.com. But they only have weekly for the highest time frame. I have the monthly on a "think or swim" platform so, I'm not sure where to find a monthly chart online. I'm sure there's one out there though.

Yep. Now it's just a matter of "how fast will we fall"? You can draw fibs in on the weekly / monthly to get an idea of where the 61% retracement lands. But, for now its, ".....hold my beer and watch this, I'll race ya to the bottom."

I took some pips off the table at TP levels of 25 and 50 pips. But it was my trailing stop loss of 50pips that closed my trade, after the retrace from touching 1.66000. It was a huge acceleration, but the previous week 161% had just been broken supporting my entry decision. Aussie and Kiwi been weak and suffering from rout since last week. Its a once in a 5 year trade and I certainly wasn't expecting such a large move. PA has now swung all the way back from that breakout. I'm more concerned after my pension fund now

Of boy I am happy I got bailed out on EC.It hit 1.55! My damage was small.That was right thing to do cutting the loser short.

I had placed RN 1.55 as my area to get shorts going and went to sleep, not expecting actually price to hit...in retrospect I should of left few limit orders just in case.
Just amazing amazing drive.Have not seen such moves for long time

Happy to those who bagged greenies from those moves. I didn't. Even trying to get back here was a big thing. had to restart my router. all super long pin bars scared me

As predicable I am short on UC.OIl should test 1.40minium very soon.Overall weakness on USD
Euro was truly wild beast.They must of crushed millions of accounts all those USD bulls are wiped out.Just market rebounding like compressed energy seating too long
I did not profit from it as well in fact I gave some back to EC
