Back tested 2015 jan till july and the results are phenomenal.

trade level
approx 74%-78% win rate.

Approx 80%-90% winning days and approx 10-20% losing/break even days monthly

Not a single losing week.

This is on EurUsd 10 pip range chart using forex tester 2.

I don't agree with back testing as markets are never the same. I just used it to make the pattern recognition second nature by constantly identifying them but I found this outcome very interesting.

I was wondering would you consider the following as hats too? I see a lot of these

My lack of confidence is due to the price action in the red squares

if it doesn't look like a hat then its not a hat. just stick with the clear hats and look to get back into the trend with 123 and 2b setups and you will do just fine

they halted the indexes after 700 pt drop oh and while all this was going on I shorted the 2b at 38 for a win

this is interesting: comparing tp, sl strategies for may and august 2015: compared

1. tp 14, sl 7, revise sl after 12 ticks with
2. tp15,sl15,revise sl after 12
3. tp30,sl20,revise sl after 15
4. tp40,sl15,revise sl after 25

looks like best compromise between total ticks and high win loss % may be #2(tp15,sl15,revise sl after 12)

Hi Divergence

A lot of questions from me this week lol. Sorry.

I was curious to know from page 354, the second 2b to get back into the trend. Is this consider a valid 2b as per rules?

I can see it wasn't a LL, LH , LL, HH.
