the O/N $109/108 diag puts performs better, is cheaper to put on, but eats some margin

/CL under $39.80 now, a new low.....eyes on SHCOMP as Shanghai opens in a few minutes. The stage is set for a further slide in risk assets....

I would push this lower, FXE not my meat though, ties up too much margin

the entire ytd /ES sideways market bouncing off the 200 sma --- erased in 3 days......how low will she go?

Yikes! ... /ES in free fall, I saw -48....SPY will open at <$192 unless some bulls come out sometime tonight....I have $191 Sept puts short.....lucky me

Wanted to try to avert my gaze, but couldn't help myself ... . Could now be eyeing the Aug 2014 low ... . Yeesh. I got two SPY IC's on with short put strikes at 190 and 193, so I'm feeling rolls coming on with this dip. Right now, SPX500 at 1929.4 (down 2.26%). SHCOMP down nearly 8.5%.

I looked at a variety of put side FXE plays to offset the shot delta in my FXE short call verts, but couldn't get enough juice of anything that was below parity (since that seems to be a constant theme among the talking heads). I may take a second look at something above parity, since it appears we might be in for a bout of dollar weakness here of unknown duration ... .

LOOKS like they pulled the plug at Shanghai, it been flatlining for the last hour +......China 1929 deja vu unless they do something....could drag down US indices 20%+......I jumped the gun on Sept $191/$188 SPY put short spreads, but I have VXX long call spreads that will balance out some of the losses if it goes that far....

-ES down 29 now, up from a 60 drop, looks like we will settle 1950-1960 Monday, unless I'm wrong and NY sells it down again towards the Sunday night lows....

I am closing VXX Oct $17/$18 long calls if I can get >60% of the projected maxP - looking for 70c net or better and the max on the vert is $1.00-$1.15

hit the jackpot on VXX spreads but could not close the trades with the markets unplugged....

never took the YEN trade as had other positions on already like APPLE and INDEXES as explained in previous posts
