Hi All,

As said before I'm testing the new version of the EA.
I have the following settings:
QE = 300
QC = 325

The orders were already opened, before I changed to EA 1.5.1, but I do have a question about the closed orders and reopened orders.
1. I'm not sure if the orders were closed @QC;
2. If they were opened @QC, then I wouldn't expect other orders to be opened.

Maybe the distance between the 2 quantum depths is too small.

I will have some closer look and let you know.

edit: I have changed the QC setting to 10 and it is working fine, so in my example the close and the entry were at the same candle.

Hi Vlad,Thank you for the hardwork on the quantum ea thus far. It is moving fast in the right direction.Please consider applying overbought or oversold Stoch filter in the EA. You can make the OBOS option and zone selectable. There is an indicator in the QLT thread that depicts the quantum indicator on stochastics. It helps to minimize trades and pick trades from the OBOS zones.That's what I like to see in the next version.Thank you.

Hi Vlad,

A few issues still persist as follows in version 1.5.1:

1. If Trade time is set from 03:00 to 07:00 the EA continues to trade until 13:00, even if I set the other 2 trade sessions with the same trade time.

2. If Max trades per trading slot is set = 5 then 5 trades are opened per cycle which means > 5 trades can be executed in the assigned trading time. (This is fine by me actually but just thought other traders might want a total trade count per trading session).

Hi Vlad,

During my testing today, I got the following error message:
0 14:03:00.342 Quantum London Trading EA v1.5.1 GBPUSD,M1: Alert: OrderSend Error: 130

I changed the fixed TP (for each order) to 10.0 and it seems that this error occured while a new order should be opened.

For the rest that I have tested the EA works great.

Vlad, I noticed when I used the SL/TP for each order that if I wanted 4.5 pips TP, then I needed to set it for 45.0 pips TP. But it worked great. Thanks for your work. -Jason

At this moment the orders are not closed once the TP is reached.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

Got this message in my journal when i drag on chart: 'Quantum London Trading EA v1.5.1' is not expert and cannot be executed

This could either be caused by the stop being placed too close to the current market price (broker limit) - or the SL/TP hasn't been properly normalised according to the digits for your broker - I'll add an additional check for this... Thanks!

Yes... to be honest I don't fully understand the maths behind converting SL/TP between 4 Digit and 5 Digit brokers... I did fix this issue so that the EA doesn't "break" but clearly the maths is a bit out still... I'll read up a bit more on this and fix it

Change the value to 5 maybe and see if that works? It could be the same issue bapakjason mentioned, due to my bad maths... if so I will be able to fix this.

This normally happens when you place the EA in your indicators folder instead of the Experts folder. Is it in the correct folder?

If it is in the correct folder, delete it and re-add it. Then restart your MT4 and try again.

But the question is not about that.

What does the option Number of daily cycles to run=1?
This option indicates the number of cycles per day. If the cycle is greater than 1, the following orders can not be opened. So?

Why do I have opened new order?

Hi Denya,

If I'm not mistaken then it would mean that if your value is greater than 1, it will also take the following trades.
So if you have it set to 2, it will take the first 2 cycles of the moment you started.

Thanks for answer but i am sure that it is on Expert

edit: it works well on other session of MT4 (oanda GMT+5) but not on oanda GMT+2
