Like LC said watch PA confirmed by lagging indicator TDI. Most uninformed think lagging is bad but lagging is there to provide guidance where PA may go.I don't pay attention to close candles but its behavior like spinning top? long wicks? tell a lot.
Taking small losses is part of the game your job is to wait to zero in on trade that has MOST EDGE.Once that is achieved I most often add to my positions.Jesse Livermore did that like almost all the time.
To me its important to admit when to get out.I don't set hard stop if I am on the computer.If PA is behaving contrary I get out but lots of times 15-20pip spikes are followed by PA going your way "fakies" so its not always good idea to close until you know if the move against you is real.
This is something hard to explain how one can tell if the spike is real or not but I usually can tell.
Anyway max $$=PA confirmed by TDI (provided you follow news and fundies) momentum going your way.

I 'll share secret here but not everyone gets it.Focus on pairs that DON'T trend!Like one below.Same behavior on weekly.Now ask yourself how can you make money from this behavior.
Looking at the chart would you confidently short at 97? Hell YES! what would be risk? 20% I think.Now given the beautiful set up would you increase lot or decrease? Well I usually go in full force because its obvious great opportunity! You see where I am going with this?When you see a great set up you must milk it and not so great ones small lots.

Just about everyone is so focused on trends.Trend traders must accept huge DD or take multiple losses on corrections.
I am getting side tracked here from this system but helps to get overall philosophy down about trading style.If you are true trend trader I suggest TMS H4 Daily system here at FF advised by Emmanuel experienced profitable trader.

Why lots of traders lose money?

Weak trading psychology
Poor money management
Wrong systems not in sink with personality
Not enough experience

Lots of folks go from system to system and never settle to find out if it works for them.Instead they should focus on their psychology to match trading style that best suits one's personality.
TMS30 may not be good for you....not everything is meant to work for you.You must ask serious questions to yourself before putting hard earned cash at risk.

EN M30 [deep] bounce +50+50+50+50+50pips - off the back of GN which i was to to trade but wold have worked nicely - got man-handled from PA - lucky to get a E trade short - cause of wat LK said [last PT manual exit]

Took the plunge, exited the second of those three nedge trades I mentioned last monday but was able to immediately recover some of it back in two other trades I had running so it's -435, +153 +77. Also managed to set a sell limit before I left for work this morning that helped +39
Am I saddened? No way, I'm happy with what I have done tonight. It's a positive move in my book to change somewhat the way I have been trading. Sure I lost overall but I did recover some. I'm going to try recover more of this last nedge trade, it also is around the -430 pip mark ATM. I have a plan, read and impliment Naningbobs recovery trading PDF see where next friday leaves me in regard to this last trade. Soon be free of it, SLEDGE THE NEDGE

A little more, the third pic shows the effect of nedging. The pipcount doesn't change much while there is one long, one short on the same pair, only a pip or two caused by the spread. That -426 will stay there until I either exit or add another trade to the mix, one one, long or short. If that trade was successful the number would shrink but immediately bounce back to -426 when I exited the trade, same as if the trade failed, the number would grow, -430, -440, stopout and back to -426 again.

I think the nedge has the effect of protecting capital but it also means there is no gain as well, it's not worth it. Taken me since february to admit that
Final picture is the pip chart from my explorer here. If I was to exit the final nedge tonight I'd be below the zero line. I don't want to go there

I've read that the Eur is getting stronger because of the bouts if the interest rate in USA will be finally increased in September or later on.

Besides the previously mentioned closes today have just closed again around +80 on the eurusd. That's it I'm shutting down for the weekend

Hope you are going to change your trading habit by paying more attention to TDI levels, to avoid trading counter trend when TDI@ O/B or O/S. I was there too.
