Thank you very much!
Your trade is quite nice too! I don't actually know why I didn't notice that, I guess I was just sleepy (D1 candle starts 11pm my time).

I absolutely love Mass Effect!! I have the three games (the last one collector edition), the books, little statues, the Risk Mass Effect Edition, a mechanical keyboard and a mouse Mass Effect edition too from Razer, and iPhone case, and I'm planning in getting the new Monopoly that have just been released lol. I love the whole mass effect universe, I completed each game several times also.
And you oble?

Thanks Missing trades is fine IMHO, and entering a trade when you're not properly focused could be disastrous, considering how psychological trading is. DBHLC/DBLHC is a PA setup that I tend to pay close attention to, because I find that they are reliable when played right. Keeping the chart marked with boxed areas and PPZs for a few days makes these things jump out when they do form.

And wow.. That's amazing. I'm very late to the Mass Effect party, having only finished ME1 recently and started ME2 just last week, but boy am I hooked. Really enjoying the games so far. I downloaded the trilogy collection from Origin.

Thanks! To me, the DBLHC bounced off BRB 1.1000 and closed strongly above the PPZ around 1.1100 and not trading directly into traffic nor trouble area within the next 20~30 pips on daily, so I had confidence to enter on break rather than on retrace. I did get out a little early because I didn't want the trade to turn on me when it reached the minor PPZ around 1.1200.

Speaking of which, price did break above that area, I took a look at the lower TF once price broke above that area, and spotted a setup on H4 that I've been wantng to test: IB4. Decided to give it a go because there's sufficient confluence for me (PPZ + another Fib ret level around 1.12).

One more reason to trade D1 instead of 4H candles or
to operate with daily highs/lows or
to skip trading minor pairs

failed 4H pin in USD/SEK (EUR/USD) after retracement entry of small D1 pin,
got out at break even.

Your failed Pin is NOT at a Swing High or Swing LOW -that's why it failed. Plus pin that worked was at swing high and bounced of your ma = CONFLUENCE
K. you have to study the use of pins and their location and the use of CONFLUENCE. You are still looking at pins etc in isolation.
Mike was correct when he said you will suffer losses and disappointments before achieving success. You have to keep revising this thread and the PDF's etc posted up by various people. Go through all James16 images and look at his set ups. After a few thousand hours of study and practice this stuff starts to gel but the trader has to have the stamina and desire to last the course. Good luck.

Kershey, please try to read this link and learn the setups that J16 uses properly. It is obvious that you learned only 50% of the info related to the pinbars.

{quote} Yeah what a clown The only strategy you need is as teached by mike on this thread alone. Mike knows his stuff and teaches it very well with great patience. I don,t post much on here but I do look in everyday and trade james16 as my main strategy and very similar to mike's teaching and would like to send a personal thank you to Mike for his hard work and wish his girlfriend all the best. If I could give one small piece of advice to new readers that would make a huge differance it would be don't trade into traffic Kind Regards...

Hey K What you are misunderstanding about James16 is that what we do is about formulating a story around strong confluence...

Hey Mike,

thanks for the worthwhile and very interesting conversation.
In retrospect I did emphasized to pure occurance of pins to high
and undervalued confluence at the same time.
I think what you call touch trades does fit my personality best,
maybe you can share a link from a J16 senior who specialized on that ?
It may be offtopic, but I think there are many things more important than making money
and health is one of them.
In this context I whish you all the best health for your girlfriend and your loved ones.

K
