kosmos,

simply open 3 charts and add the EA to each chart with the different trading times... Make sure you give each instance of the EA a different Magic Number........that should do it

Thx, Silicus... That's exactly how I'm working around it at the moment. The whole point of my request is to be able to run one EA only, and not to worry about having to press the button each time. It's called 'flexibility'.

Hi Classic T,

Can you share a picture of your settings?
Maybe you set 24 hour trading to false??

I'm pretty much out of options.
I'm using v1.4 and that works fine, perhaps you can give that version a try, I will add v1.4.1 and see if that works for me.

Hello Traders,

I`ve got a question about this ea.

IS there somewehere a manuel how it works ?
Ive read about the london theorie, but i`ve got no clue how the ea works
When does the ea takes a buy ore a sell, and on what terms ?
is there somewhere a template what can explain things a bit more?
When do you reach your profit ore lose?

I now have a few days Quantom London Trading EA v.1.4.1 and must say that it definitely works well.
Only I have changed the lotsize to 0.01

Hope to learn a lot here

I also installed v1.4.1 and it works fine, it opens the trades as expected.
Can you go to the experts tab? Perhaps there is an error message showing up.

I changed the settings to eintDepth 10, just to see if it works.

Ok for those still struggling with not getting any trades, here is a "debug" version of the EA V1.4.2

At the bottom of the Inputs page - please change Debug Mode to true.

This will spam you with a bunch of messages - but it will give me more insight into where in the code the problems are... please let me know what these messages are and what was happening at the time so that I can track down the problem?

I have also implemented a change that may help with the EA not working on brokers using different Digits 3/4/5 etc.

Looking forward to the feedback and squashing these bugs!

Hi Vlad - debug mode is a smart move - here is my results - the x candle setting is stopping the trade from opening. I thought that it only came into play if there was a trade on the candle within the parameter set. Even if it were being blocked the first signal should have worked as there is no previous signal with 5 candles - see attached images

Hi Again Vlad,

As I mentioned in an earlier post I am not a coder but I was trying to follow the logic and I think this may be the problem (but I am not sure!). In the trade check conditions I see in the Check Candles conditions it has a statement saying if orders total >0. This would stop the EA from placing a trade if there was any other order open on the platform I think whether opened manually or by an EA - see attached snip

Please forgive me if I am wasting your time with this but I am wanting to help

Add another optimization test, fix lot 0.01 [QLT1.4.2][GBPUSDM1][all2015][Opt][xCandles0-5][qd250-500][fix lot 0.01]

As you can see, most effectively use the settings:
1.[xCandles=2]
2.[qd=420]
3.Sets with increases lot size is much better then sets fix lot of 0.01

So while Vlad works his ass off to improve his ea, I had another member here at FF see our thread and send me an EA to try out. So I thought I'd share. Now this doesn't have all the bells and whistles Vlad's has, but its pretty good and from what I can tell its pretty stable. You guys can try it out and be the judge. This one uses dynamic grid spacing and the lot sizes don't work to Mer's specs, but it does have some filters like the TMA some of you have mentioned. There is one thing that sticks out that I wanted to point out and that is a "Reverse Close" setting. Default is False, but should be set to True, otherwise if you are able to hedge, the ea will take buy and sell trades at the same time. The way we're trading here, I would recommend you change that setting to True. Everything else should be self explanatory as its a fairly simple ea. Finally, this person only gave me the compiled file and not the source, so please don't even ask. Wishing all the very best.

Hi Vlad,

Could you add in the following user options to the EA

1. Trade_All_Boxes after X_Candles;

2. Allow for Max_Num_Trades for each start trading/end trading time frame.

For example, I might wish to set 10 trades during 03:00 to 07:00 and then 5 trades during 07:01 to 13:00 or visa versa.
