i am trying new MM and new setup

Hi Dimdel,

I intend to start trading your method using a live account 0.01 lot size but first I wanted to clarify the rules with you. In your first page's rule u wrote the following:-

MANAGING ORDERS
----the friday we put the orders the last 15 minutes , or wait the sunday night to avoid the gap

I don't really get what do you mean on friday we put order at the last 15 mins, is it the last 15 mins before the Friday candle closed? So if the bar looks red 15mins before it closes i short? and i place the stoploss at the high of the bar? And if it is green i long and place stoploss at the low of the bar? That means I won't be placing any trades on Monday morning cause I'd done them on Friday before the bar close. Did I get your rule correctly? Please confirm if yes and clarify if not.

And what does wait the sunday night mean? My chart is the new york close chart, so I don't have sunday bar. Do I just trade the Mon bar on Tuesday opening if the setup is there?

I haven't visited this forum in quite a while as I am always on the go so am surprised to see new rules added on the first page, but I am keen to try this live. I'll only be trading EU pair though. I hope you can clarify soonest. I see a potential to short EU at the close of Thursday bar tonite. Am I right?

Thanks for the wonderful system. BTW, your trade explorer looks weird. Is it showing the right statistics? I'm taken aback by all the super red numbers. Do tell me is something wrong with it? Or is that real results?

Hello valerie,

I would like to answer that if I may.

On Friday near ed of day's trading the market becomes pretty slow. So 15 minutes before the close you can go ahead and place your buy stop above the day's high or sell stop below the day's low instead of actually waiting for the candle to actually close before placing order, which you would probably not be able to do since market is closed at Friday end of day.

If you wish to avoid the frequent gaps on Monday morning you could wait till market open on Monday ( Sunday night) and place your order "At Market price" wich would be the opening price.

only 1 thing to add
if for some reasons you dont want put pending orders at friday night 15min before close and you wait the monday open then
if there is a gap , forget this pair
but if the price move normal then you must see where price is.

i mean ( long exampmle ) if the friday High /Low is 100 pips ( this mean 100pip SL )
then
if the price in the monday morning is <=20 pips you enter at once ( market), if> 20 pips no trade
if price is < at friday hight enter at once

Dimdel.. when u say price <=20 pips were u referring to the gap? so if the friday bar is red, and on monday the price gaps is <=20 pips then enter at market, and if the gap is >20 pips then just forget the trade? Did i get this right?

I have several more questions..

1) do you carry forward trades over the weekends?
2) This friday rule is only applicable to fri & sunday bar rite? For the rest of the day Tues-Thurs just take the signal as it comes?
3) Your trade explorer only shows success in EU and GJ pairs, if i understand the information correctly, or is there something wrong with the trade explorer reports? I remember this method registers pretty good reward ratio compared to what i am seeing now..

Thanks a lot for your time and kind contribution. I'm getting excited as I'd be trading my first signal using this method in EU..

I'll also try and do a bit of catching up on all the past pages.. I stopped at page 21 last time.. so i gotta wade through 50+ pages but still..

1=yes
2= foa any day
3= i make test with pairs and MM so the explorer give unfair result for the strategy
but in 1-2 weeks i will finish the homework and the explorer will correct the graph

Hi.. Dimdell:

Nice to get the chance to read your FOREX strategy based on Daily chart.. Honestly, I never trade based on this DAILY.. Seems for me it is very boring with bigger pips for range.. Yet, the more I study at your strategy, I found it is very high winning probability.. I apply your strategy on EUR-US.. As for current, I enter SELL strategy on Aug 17 since the SELL signal is happened on Aug 13.. Till now I have booked the PIPS for over 60PIPS, yet I have not closed since it is not complete my target FIBO on 191.. Today I noticed the Price is moving NORTH, so let see whether this position will take the target profit..
