I think, you would need access to indies' source for this. Even for bundled indicators, you would need to create a custom version with a line of code to take the text out.

Recently upgraded from W 8.1 to W 10. Everything went smooth.

Now, I want to create a new MT4 platform of AXITrader at C:\AXI\6 but it is not giving me a chance to select the location to install. It is only going to C:\Program 86\MetaTRader....

Is there any way to set the location?

All good with Windows 10 here.
The only thing that's changed is the MT4 directory but everything else is exactly as it was on Windows 7 and 8.

Upgraded to Windows 10 a week ago from Win 7. I emptied all documents, videos etc on my working laptop except my Mt4 platform. Backed up everything.
All went well. I had to login to my MT platform, all my system setups were up and working. My system is a i7 64 bit pro. There is a caveat in that windows upgrades
itself and may reboot to install the upgrades. One could lose out if there is a robot trade. My tip is to reset the upgrade settings. easily done!

Well I have a problem; after win 10 it does not recognize custum indicators

I updated last night from windows 10, last night everything worked perfect.
But now i am unable to open MT4, i reinstalled it, didn't work.
Anyone has a solution or experienced the same issue?

Well, this is weird
I didn't do anything but restarting my pc (again) and now it is working

So far i am really pleased! Coming from Windows 7 and 8 i think i am going to stay with 10 as long as i am not getting to much errors, otherwise i might go back to 7 and update again within a few weeks/months.
If i remember correctly the update will be free for 12 months.

I'm having a serious issue with this No matter what I try, MT4 just starts up and immediately shuts down. I've tried reinstalling it, running in various compatibility modes, sacrificing an intern - nothing works.

My biggest issue is that I can't get my favourite custom indicator (Raghee Horner's GRaB candles) to work on MT5. I know nothing about coding in mql5 or mql4.

Does anyone have any way of converting a simple MT4 indicator into a MT5 one? Bear in mind that the common converter that everyone uses requires you to run MT4, which I can't do

Would really appreciate any help

I had the same issue, make sure you completely remove the old version, including the personal information.
When i restarted my PC it worked again, so for me there was no magical solution.
If you cant get it fixed i would suggest to go back to the version you came from, you normally have one month to do so and wait a few more weeks till all first issues are fixed before updating to windows 10 again.

Win10 & MT4 have been working fine together. Just had win10 update my computer & now not one of my MT4 platforms will load - thankfully I have alternatives to mt4 but it is B annoying

I'm having the same issue. MT4 worked fine for a while in Windows 10, but not after the most recent updates.
Luckily, it's just a demo account with FXDD. Contacted FXDD but they haven't responded yet.
I'm surprised more people are not having this problem. I'm using pro version of Windows 10.
MetaQuotes don't seem to be aware of this problem either.

Not sure if it is a Win 10 specific problem. I normally install MT4 at C:\ (root level). After upgrading the various MT4 instances, I had no issue at all but, now if I want to install a new MT4 instance, it forces to install at C:\Program Files(x86)\<Broker_Name>.

Can you guys suggest a way how I can install MT4 at root level.

hi I am having trouble with my MT4 the indicators stopped working. I have tried to delete and start again. I recently upgraded to Windows 10,, can anyone advise how I can get my indicators back working.

the screen resolution won't work on Mac using parallels windows 10. The answer is using time machine to previous setting or wiping the whole machine to the start. As if we just bought it. Would that be my only option or has anyone got a solution to my annoying problem. Thanks
