Trades of today.

AUD/NZD:
Short after 4H engulfing with close under yesterdays lows.
Played the break and was conservatively kicked out at BE.

GBP/CAD:
Entered bullish outside bar at the break/new D1 high at 2.0407.
Disliked the loss from USD/SGD yesterday night so TP profit here at 2.0475

Hey thanks you guys. Had a ridiculously busy day today, didn't have much time for FX.

Although I did take the GBPAUD D1 IB with the trend from swing low. I played the break of the MB instead of the IB itself, I just felt it was the safer option. I tucked my initial SL below today’s low and now I have 150 pips (1R) locked in.

Zamfir or Mike i would like an advice from you on this chart.
Could i sell on a retrace or the place is not too good for selling...? The close is pretty strong don't you think? My plan is to sell on the 50% of that bearish candle.

Hi Z, would you go long again on the BUOB/DBLHC, through TL?

Honestly, i don't trade on the retrace of the OB and i have not tested for the retrace. So Mike can probably help you out on this one.

However from your post i can see that you have no trade plan nor have you tested your probabilities. So if i were you i would get on that first.

Not going on long on aud. Its clearly in downtrend still and no signs yet of reversing. We are now getting a BEOB . Lets see how far this one will go.

HAHA reddle is probably confused now and wondering what Zamfir is talking about. Hey Zamfir, I think Reddle quoted the wrong post. I'm sure he meant your EUR/CAD trade and this trend line:

There were beautiful pinbars on some EUR pairs, and yet they failed. Damn it.

I can understand this one, as the FTA was near with perfect touches.

Edit: I've been analyzing these trades, I think my fault was that I should have cancelled my orders as in the next candle were not picked up, momentum not strong. But I HOPED (bad thing) that it could go down as they were very pretty.
Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.

yes i would go long again but on a pullback. EURCAD is in clear uptrend. pullback will come sooner to later.

Never buy high in a trend when you can buy lower.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone have gaps on for example EUR/GBP?

My broker has 20pip gap on E/G whereas FxPro or tradingview.com (FXCM feed) has none?

Just wondering what's going on, closed my trade based on possible gap close. heh

If price doesn't move away from those pins on the first bar after it then it's time to cancel the order for sure. I don't generally take pullback trades for that reason.

Thank you very much. I had to confirm that was my mistake. It is driving me nuts because after I had some losses I thought that these beautiful setups could help my mindset lol, all wrong.

Hope to make a good trade this week at least to help my mindset.
