Thanks for sharing this strategy. I like it.
So a little bitter sweet today as we were so close to getting an exit box but then price reversed on us. I gave it some time and then decided to close out all the open trades as volume has dropped. Here's what the EA had open and what I was waiting for to close. Like I said these were all closed manually using a script around 1.5612. Total profit at close 40.34, sorry but too lazy to calculate total pips.

Looking through todays chart I notice that the trades were not taken until around 8am BST which under my normal trading would very much fall into the time where id be looking for trending/breakout moves pre London to then continue in to London. Looking back the cleaner trades (not necessarily the most profitable) ones seem to be taken much earlier so that 8am-10am(BST) volume can drive price the other way for exit. Rather than looking at other indicators etc I'm looking at filtering with time more so.
From my perspective(small account) my biggest concern is to avoid entering on the trending move, which can run and run.
just sharing my thoughts.
I did a rough estimate of possible cumulative loss from the strategy on a bad day. I tested 2 scenarios.

- Take every trade assuming new signals appear every 3 pips
- Take new trades with at least 10 pips move against
- In both scenario, I assumed price moved about 120 pips against the first entry. That is about the ADR of GbpUsd.

See attached spreadsheet for results. I do think the second scenario is safer.

- Judging by this result, i will suggest the second option. It is fairly conservative and provides some cushion.
- I also do feel setting: 400 is safer and will protect against taking too many trades.
- I used a lot multiplier of 1.1. Starting lot is 0.01
- The assumption is that the trend move would have exhausted after the ADR is exhausted against the first trade which would have been the highest high at least 400 minutes before that time. That is about 7hr period.
- This is just sharing my thoughts.

Thanks for EA. Please, can you add an option when we can change number of trades: for example no 1-12 but 1-20 0r 1-50 etc.?

I'm still sitting on multiple shorts and happily so on the GBPUSD pair.

Properly funded account and an analysis of the levels on a higher TF chart and you'll get a good idea of what type of DD could reasonably be expected.

Can someone explain to me why hasn't a blue box formed. Does it have to do with the 325 setting on Quantum indicator?

Yes it does. Price has to get to a new low in the last 325 periods in order to make a blue box. That's why earlier I said price was very close. Something like within 5 pips, but then it bounced and hasn't come back since. Something we need to pay attention to. Find the low in the last 325 periods from the current bar and that's where you can expect a new blue box to appear. That shifts with every new 1 minute candle.

Alright, finally got this one to close out. Sometimes they're quickies, sometimes there not. Someone asked me in a PM how many levels I really use and to be fair to everyone I said I would post the excel sheet for everyone to use if they wish. This is not set in stone by any means, just another tool to use if you wish. And keep in mind that I can use these structures in relation to my account size with no fear of margin calls or drawdown issues. And the ability to transfer funds from secondary accounts, in which some do not have the luxury to do so, in case I need to reach past beyond level 80.

So please do not post anything saying that this is not feasible for me to use, I just explained that you might not be able to, so adjust it if you need to.

As I mentioned in the first post that I use a 60 level structure. On the bottom of the excel document are Sheets 1-3 representing a Mild, Normal, and Aggressive structure. I use the Normal sheet on Monday, Aggressive on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays (the highest volatility days on average), and the Mild on Friday. There is also a 20 level buffer zone in red on each sheet for situations like we had in July. I will use the Aggressive structure in the next post to go over these trades that just closed.

Regarding the Trade every 10 pip movement table:

Wouldnt the culmulative loss of 245,9 only be if we traded 0,21 lots from the start?
