You will not believe how many bugs i found already i had to rename the version.

Split some triggers like ASH & M-candle they are now separate.
Did a lot of other stuff just have a look at the input settings and ask if you really do not understand.

Now for the news block (also quite important), i have to update/debug my news library.

Ps.
You won't believe how little DD at the moment.
Lower your triggers and lower you basket SL (it doesn't go that low anymore).

Hi HP,

I was by chance this morning observing the attached Excel and noticing the highlighted areas.

Incidentally, Marialuiza brought up practically the same issue when she was talking about Gap. From the Excel sheet calculations, this is the overall addition of all the relative strengths of the currency pair for that currency. Obviously, the more positive or negative this value is, the lesser the chances of a reversal depending on the trade.

Having observed this Gap issue, I believe that knowing the value of this overall "Relative Strength" helps us to be a bit more confident in fact that the trade we are in may last a bit longer because of the differentials that we are able to take advantage. I just believe this is a very powerful combination to this amazing dashboard.

Looking at the attached screenshot, although the Absolute Strength of the EUR is just about half of that of the AUD, the "Relative Strength" however tell us that at the moment is 1:8 which is quite informative but further at the "Gap" being the "Combined Relative Strengths" we can see that the AUD is really way stronger that the EUR and the chart confirms that this is a really trending pair.

So I believe that knowing this Gap aka "Combined Relative Strength" can easily help us identify really strongly trending pairs to trade - IMHO.

Also, the second row of the highlighted section gives us a quick overview of the general trend direction of the currency in question. This is equally very good information especially when one is considering a basket to trade. It may look obvious but this view does have a lot of merit.

I think our main goal here is how to better pick our currency pairs to trade and I believe just like Marialuiza has pointed out, that the inclusion of these two pieces of information in the dashboard will be of significant use.

Given your expressed overall programming ability, I think that before I can even finish saying "Jack Robinson" you are capable of adding this little addition to our great dashboard.

Friends Good morning, how are operations.

I left running V3 EA and the EA V3D

EA V3 from Asian session so far closed + 900 pips. Excellent.

EA V3D opened only 02 operations, today many couples did not follow the previous D1 sailing and have to be with the force and ASH 3 afavor,,, is not soft.

For tomorrow I will see if I place more different configuration.

Today were + 913 pips

Hi,

I can't really say if they have the same data connection ability as I have not really used OpenOffice except on my android.

Perhaps this Gap is already there in EA in form buyer seller ratio. I donot look into gap (a static value). I look into Gap variation. Gap must be increasing for Buy entries and gap must be decreasing since a particular period for SELL entries. Also try to catch the strength direction rather cashing an established trend. Less chance of reversal and longer trade.

Understood. However, from the Excel spreadsheet, the calculations for my assumed "Gap" calculations are quite different from that of the Bid/Ratio. The way I am looking at is such that working based on this Cumulative Relative Strength approach, we see a kind of real in-depth relative strength of the currencies against each other - at least in my view since this weighing is not just about a pair but the overall currency weightings.

As per the "catch the strength direction," I would appreciate if you can throw some more vivid light on this "gray-area."

As i stated few times before, I will repeat.
(i) I don't trade with bid ratio greater than 90. (This saves you buying on too high or selling on two low. chances of reversal. Don't worry price will come dome to raise and you will not miss the trade. so a chance of earning few more pips.
(ii) Watch the bid ratio H4(london),M30(NY) earlier and comparing with current bid ratio. As it increasing or increasing...
(iii) Compare gap in shorter period as compare to strength direction timeframe. See its increasing or decreasing.
(iv) Check supply demand levels. is it providing you your TP before hitting supply demand levels.

BUY:
Bid ratio: between 75 and 90
strength: increasing
gap: increasing
supply demand: ok
SELL:
bid ratio: between 25 and 10
strength: decreasing
gap: increasing with a negative
supply demand: OK

London: Strength direction : H4 , gap direction M30
New York: Strength direction: M30 , gap direction M15

Dont't afraid of SL as long as gap direction is your friend.

gap direction opposing , time to close the trade and accept the SL.

However, the calculations used in this particular Excel CSM is somewhat different from what we are currently using. My thought here is to incorporate the "Cumulative Relative Strength" and the "Individual Currency's Pair Directional Bias Differential" into our CSM Dashboard.

anyway to use pipdripper and your GAP increasing and decreasing as not just visual information but as an actual trigger in the EA? -jason

Thanks a million for the detailed breakdown of your Gap analysis process.

@HotPotato, given this tip from Marialuiza, and if it is not too much trouble, can you kindly include a snapshot feature that takes a screenshot of the CSM dashboard at a predefined interval so that the activities of the dashboard can be analyzed at a later time like GE did some time back with almost 1000+ screenshots.
