FXOpen AU Discussion

Is it just me, or are the spreads terrible lately? I'm constantly seeing 1.4 on EUR/USD during London/NY.

You are not alone.

Their spread is quite terrible recently while spread for other brokers remain relatively stable. I just cant believe my eye that their usdjpy has 2pip spread and that is yet to include commission.

I hope FXOJafar or their representative can explain to us the current situation.

Important Question to Ojafar:

Does FXOPEN.com.au has a negative balance protection?

I found this, but it's from 2010, not sure if that's still valid.

I did signup for FXOpen.com recently and wondering if FXOpenAU has the same issues or not as I am considering moving my account to FXOpenAU as it seems to offer better protection under Australian law.

So here is my question, please let me know if this applies to FXOpenAU:

I did place a buy stop on July-21-2015 just before the tick table below at 1.08701 for EUR/USD.
The buy price I received for this order was 1.08719 which is 2 seconds later.
As from the tick data below, I don't think I should have received that price from FXOpen, but ok, nevermind, I wonder if it would be same from FXopenAU.

Did you complain them directly?

Entheos, yes I did. I have been told that the price I received was the market price from their LP and it's within the slippage range I put in my order (which is correct).

11:21:55.689 +203ms (this transaction execution time) -> request reached the LP and executed within my slippage range.

Now I wonder if the LP has been made aware of my slippage limit and would generally give something on the lower end of the stick or not...but again, this could be a different topic... or perhaps I would get a positive slippage to my side sometimes as well!

If anyone else have any other insight then please share. I would be keen to learn them.

Anyone here trading live with the broker and how has it been? I have found out that Fxopen, AU is among the best Australia brokers according to some traders.
