I am sooo sorry for all our marvelous coders if I come so many time with new ideas and proposals but what we invent here is to much fascinating

We could use instead of 1 row (no trade) to make 2 rows (no long, no short).
The trader may have a bias fundamentally or a trend to say I like only long or only short entry.

Basically u need 3

- Hold long
- Hold short
- Manual override

Lets say high impact news is coming up in an hour and you have a losing short trade open.
The news manager will (with params) set the Hold long to red but if you want to trade the news long also you can use the manual override.
Also handy when you want to trade through the ADR stop, manual override always prevail.

1.can you make a distance between opening orders:

Gvc and Hotpotato, I think it is right, if you add into Dashboard ban on opening new order if the distance to an open order price less than the ADR / 15. (For example, for EURUSD its less then 7). It is our protection from opening too many orders

Slowly we will build in all options into the dashboard but first the dashboard has to contain a complete and proven set of indicators we can profitable trade with.
I also want to be sure that that will be the dash i and GVC want to go on with, i do not want to build my main EA code into 14 dashboards, i am sorry.

I have so many options and code and in my main EA that i can easy copy into a complete working dashboard (after a really thorough rewrite) .

George won't mind if i show off this puppy once (the dashboard will benefit from the code already made) which started somewhere in 2013 as a signaling dashboard with a manual trading popup screen as soon as the dash gave a possible trading signal. Since then it has become a full fledged EA trading 24/5 without me looking to much at it. I am now trading it on H1-H4-D1 bar because as you can see by duration it takes 10-15 seconds to perform all calculations before new signals are generated.

Can we change some more thoughts about your post http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...89#post8403289 and try to turn that into a condition for the dashboard allowing it to trade a pair in a direction.

This will fastly reduce the number of trades taken by the dash but probably eliminate a lot of losers.
