these settings are effective and are from Jibala. now manage time (right after TO, LO, NYO -especially LO; this tip is also from Jibala)
try using pairs that move during these session open times.
i'm just learning, but i've found these ideas are important.

Hi Bernhard,

If there is anything we should all understand about EAs and automated trading is that the settings that worked this week might woefully fail next week. If you have been through enough threads on this forum and others, at first glance an EA may seem to be the "next holy grail" and after some testing and tweaking, the reality then sets in that there is no such thing.

JibalaPasan's method of mostly trading this EA and others in this thread manually, is to me the best way to go and if I remember clearly GVC has also pointed this out in one of his post in reference to the bad performances a poster had with automated trading of one the dashboards.

To me, the Rule of Thumb should be to first and foremost understand the intricacies of this EA and best to trade it manually. Using "Relative Strength" in trading is more of a short term trading technique, First In Fast Out. And as always, EAs in general basically do not fully understand "Support and Resistance" and this is the burial ground of most automated trading technique. Just my take on the automation issue.

GVC, JibalaPasan, and HotPotato have given us a great tool to dramatically help us in better understanding how currency strength and price works and taking best advantage of it.

Hi. First a big thanks to GVC and the team around him developing this Dashboard. It just gets better and better

I never liked the approach with more then 1 trade per pair, is it something in this strength strategy that is making the multitrades better than a single trade (per pair) with higher lotsize?

I will start my own tests with 1 trade per pair, but I am curious if anyone have tested this already?

I do have an EA where i coded this in.
It uses the calculated support/resistance of 1 timeframe higher or the same timeframe than the trading timeframe and it respects the no-trading zone x pips before and x pips after S/R.

I think the newest EA, Dashboard - Currency Metter V3 working best with scalping strategy.
Catch Strong move (Not strong trend) and FAST IN - FAST OUT with small TP around 10% ADR.
Today, I'm looser, lost around 500 pips with it. Most of them reach SL (I use small SL, 10% - 15% ADR for FIFO strategy).

But still growing with Dashboard Ultimate - the trend following system.

An idea:
Combine Dashboard - Currency Metter V3 with Dashboard Ultimate.
- Use Dashboard Ultimate to define master direction trade.
- Use Dashboard - Currency Metter V3 to define signal to jump in market.

As I see, Currency Metter V3 has 2 more filter: Releative Strength and B/S Ratio.
@ GVC, Hotpotato and anyone: Would you put them into Dashboard Ultimate .

Final: I am sure, everyone can reach target 3 - 5% balance per day, follow:
- Trading hour;
- Money managment: lots size, TP, SL,...
- Using DB: read DB, using signal, auto/manual trade,... (Not all signals are good enough to use, IT'S YOUR CHOICE )

Last, GREEN pips to ALL!

Currency meter is a great scalper.

I was just thinking about being able to exclude (hold) pairs on a per session base.
There are pairs i do not want to scalp during a particular session.
