Hi guys, question kind not related to thread, but does anyone knows how to see what indicator are using more memory/processing? My MT4 is very laggy and im not sure to identify witch indicator is causing that.

Too much data is being processed for no reason.
Go Tools-Options-click on chart-choose lowest number 5000
This should speed things up
Delete indicators not being used.You can always add if needed.Custom indicators not default.

I have been trading for 4years and I never seen one directional USD dominated market like this.I keep waiting for corrections and they are minute hiccups.
Yellen has vastly outspoken and market is just responding.

Tell ya one old story - goes back to 2008, when I have made my bachelors degree of economics. My thesis was Fundamental analysis of Unipetrol. That was Czech state owned Oil+Chemistry rafinering company which went through very hard privatisation process = pure robbery of people - while at the same time was quoted on Prague stock exchange. So was very interesting to watch how price reacts on our governement robbing the place after 1989 revolution. Long story short, no matter what our little government thieves were doing, price of Unipetrol was correlating @ 85% with DJIA. And they were really doing heavy stuff, so one would expect price would reflect it. Since then, I have acknowledged US is dominating the world and stopped looking at our local politics. USD is dominating the market all the time, is sad, but true.

Not like indi, but am doing lots of cycle analysis, so measuring strength of waves both pips/percentage and also doing momentum analysis - but all very long term, am measuring like 1 month momentum change minimum, all doing in MS Excel. edit: This is an example of UJ cycle analysis, though I have dropped this scenario after Oil bounce+Fitch cut rating -invalidating my FA and went UJ short - it spanked me heavy after Japanese pension funds started to reposition from JGBs into Nikkei. Was not a good trade, but UJ is smaller percentage of my portfolio. Afterall am European, I dont know that much about Asia.

Thanks for your detailed reply Tom. I had a bit of those while back when I was doing buy and hold stocks/commodities/ currencies ( I did not pay much attention to TA at all). Last few years when things changed and I felt the fundies with the uncertainty in the market made me worried so I started only concentrating on day trading and got addicted to charts and TA. I found that if we trade from D1 chart, best only look at it once per day or it can make us jump up and down. Having a separate acct just for those activities and keep it out of sight if we are also a day trader. Frankly, when I saw your chart up I was a bit worried for you because under my view as a day trader, I would only go long from small TFs...Anyway, good luck with your UJ.

GA M30 cross +50+50+50+50+50pips - this was wat i call the Arnie trade - took me ages to see wat PA was doing and took many small losses but once the market showed its hand [GCad broke TL long] i went into terminator mode

Yy, am chatty guy and gazing all day on charts. Got nothing better to do that write detailed replies . See, I went the other way around, started as TA trader in 2008. Had well backtested my brilliant scalping strategy, so when market was falling and TA said buy, I bought. And again and again and again, untill my account finally burned. I have picked up possibly the worst time to start TA trading. So, with fundies totally crushing me on 2008, I kinda gave up on TA. Well, not gave up, but acknowledged I can never ever match bots still evolving TA moves, so am using techs only as a support tool. Market beeing very complex and global FA never possible to finish completely (not with my skills and knowledge, would need 10+ years more exp) is quite hard. And I often screw up. But i prefere to follow my emental like FA, rather than to be in hands of bots and Wall Street vultures giving me fake TA signals. Living so far, wish me luck . Good luck to you as well, T

Took the GA Likica, entered a bit late on the 3rd candle but managed to bring stop up to break even then when it hit 50 pips+ moved the stop again. Finally stopped out at 28+ Thanks for the heads up, 30 mins is not a time I've followed before but me thinks me better keep an eye on it henceforth. First time I've used the angleater as well Griffinsoul, works well

1st cross where confirmed APB too big (70pips) and TDI both green and red were not clear from 32 level (still bearish)
